ESPN trying to get AT&T to threaten to drop Jerry so he can cut Hardy

American Airlines has already said they aren't pulling from the Cowboys.

DALLAS COWBOYSHUGE SPONSOR STANDS BY TEAM... Despite Greg Hardy Pics

Seems the Greg Hardy photos aren't scaring off one of the Dallas Cowboys' biggest sponsors -- with American Airlines vowing to stand by the team ... despite the controversy.

Critics of the Cowboys are calling for sponsors to pull out -- hoping to put pressure on Dallas to fire Hardy after photos surfaced which appear to show the brutal injuries he inflicted on his ex-girlfriend.

But American Airlines -- which has a partnership with the Cowboys until 2019 -- tells TMZ Sports they're not running for the hills.

"American Airlines supports teams, not individual players," an AA spokesperson tells us.

"We have a huge employee and customer base in Dallas/Fort Worth and we partner with the Cowboys on several community projects throughout the year. As part of our initiatives to improve the communities we serve, we partner with several organizations that support and protect victims of domestic violence."

However, our sources tell us ... when Hardy was signed to the team, AA discussed the situation internally and expressed concerns about being connected to the embattled player.
But in the end, AA decided it wasn't worth blowing up the deal with the Cowboys over a player who could be gone by this time next year.

fukk you, he is a former athlete. pretend like they keep all of their stories to current athletes and his story goes, in part with whats happening in todays society. abuse of power by the police
fukk you, you dumb hotep negus.

He was never a professional athlete. If ESPN is covering former college athletes that didn't make the pros, who commit crimes then fair enough. I know you don't have an example of one so shut the fukk up.

Holtzclaw needs to rot in hell but don't use those violated black women to excuse Hardy.

Also I'm quite disturbed at this "white women bruise easier" bullshyt. You have gone to advocate domestic violence and are now blaming the woman for bruising easier. You crehs are twisted.

That doesn't mean I think Hardy should get suspended or released by the Cowboys because I don't believe in double jeopardy, but I'm not gonna defend him like you psychopaths and pretend psychopaths have done so far.

:wtf:

ESPN pushing this like they got some vested interest for real
:mindblown:
ESPN LOVES DESTROYING PEOPLE. That's their interest. They want you to realize that you have to put up with their goofy shyt because they can break you if they don't like you. There's so many examples of this insane bullying. New York Knicks don't usually play ball with them, so there has been a 15 year long smear campaign.

Same thing with the Raiders. They always shyt on the Raiders even when they are decent. But Al Davis couldn't stand espn and they always smeared him...even after his death.

Im sick of the media's faux outrage and its fans. NFL players stay beating their wives. We don't need photos and a video tape to get upset about it. It was barely a story for a long time when athletes did this shyt, a half a bar. Now it's serious. Domestic violence should always be serious but this feels completely insincere from the media.

It drive a narrative. No matter who acknowledges it, it foments racism. No brother should be hitting their woman anyway, or committing any crime. However, we must call out the exploitative nature of the coverage. Go look at the comments section of any story. All of a sudden, you have 200 people on a story that has just come out.

Of that 200 people, 175 are racially charged comments. So the media knows where it gets its mana. They win either way. The rest of us lose.

:camby: if you think I'm gonna read through 13 pages of :deadhorse: but I don't blame her for taking the money and :eat:

She knew nothing would happen to him even if she did press charges. Hardy's got millions and access to the best defense lawyers possible. If this played out in court he probably gets sent to anger management classes and is put on probabtion. At worst he spends a few months locked up and when he gets out all :demonic:

If the actual victim isn't calling for any more 'justice', why are these media crybabies trying to speak for her? Funny how Hope Solo's domestic violence for beating up her teenage nephew isn't getting any media coverage.

They aren't saying anything about Ronda Rousey, who is dating a man who committed domestic violence. Not a word about that. They can scream all day about Floyd Mayweather and give Ronda props for calling Floyd out, but as soon as she dates a guy engaged in domestic violence, the media completely zips their lips.

Ronda Rousey Hypocrisy Argument: Did ‘Rowdy’ Commit Domestic Abuse To Ex-Boyfriend After Finding Nude Pictures Of Herself?

Anyone getting on Ronda Rousey and calling her utterly dispicable when she details her own acts of domestic violence?

The argument was brought up on the Underground Forums on Mixed Martial Arts. One of the users was asking others in the forum if Ronda Rousey openly admitted to committing a serious act of domestic abuse in her autobiography, My Fight/Your Fight. On page 228 of the book, Rousey talked about a situation in one of her past relationships with a man she called “Snappers McCreepy,” who took nude pictures of her without her permission. Rousey did not take it well and how she handled it may be questionable.

“I slapped him across the face so hard my had hurt… I punched him in the face with a straight right, then a left hook. He staggered back and feel against the door… Then I grabbed him by the neck of his hoodie, kneed him in the face, and tossed him aside on the kitchen floor.”

To be fair, “Snappers McCreepy” did try to stop her from leaving. There was no account if he was violent. However, from the account that Ronda Rousey wrote, he was “crying and wanting to explain,” then the person who started the violence was Rousey herself. Despite this, people said it was “good for Rousey” to stand up in such a situation and that “Snappers McCreepy” deserved the beating for what he had done.
