I notice a lot of the hi end brand do use better material. Not so much better to justify spend 3x and 4x tho.

It's hard to say because you can spend $500 on some Ferragamo or Prada shoe or $300 on some To Boot New Yorks or Hugo shoes with similar quality. Wouldn't call the Ferragamos and Prada overrated tho.

this is wildly untrue. to boot and boss both use shyt quality leather.

gamo is pretty great, and prada is okay, but both are light years better than to boot or boss.

allen edmonds/alden would have been a better example to go against higher priced shoes.

You must be trolling. To Boot and Hugo Boss use shytty leather? :what:

What makes it shytty?

Come on breh. It's not the Ferragamo quality, but it's up there. Definitely not shytty at all. I have 3 pairs of Hugo Boss, I've had to get new heal put on one pair that I wear almost everday to work for 2 years. The sole wore out before the leather started looking bad.

I have these To Boot New York, you can see the quality.

Yeah, they're really inconsistent. They don't own their own production facilities and they switch houses depending on who gives them the better deal. I currently have 4 pairs of them that I bought all at the same time because I liked the various styles. They just have not held up nearly as well as my AEs, Aldens, Meermins, Gamos or Santonis.

They're sewed with nylon and most of the pairs aren't goodyear welted. the one pair that is has a very waxy quality to the leather to that has started to crack in the two years i've had them (it's cause its top grain. you can see this sometimes when you scratch them and it's white underneath). they're in a weird price range where you're paying for the style and not the quality. in the same price range with AE, you pay for the quality and not the style.

once you go up a little you can get some of both.

Some G-Shock watches seem kinda cheap looking imo. It's just a LTD watch.

Acura, Lexus and Infiniti are all over-rated. They are basically Honda, Toyota and Nissan cars with badging that says "Look at me, I'm rich because I paid thousands more for a $2 badge".

Can't speak for Acura but that statement is incorrect for lexus and infiniti.

I am by no means a car guy, and their engines may be the same but the luxury isn't even close when u compare a fully loaded TOYOTA or Nissan to a inf or lex...

I'd say Brunos > AE > To Boot > Boss...

Boss quality is the weakest of them all. Very comfortable shoes but wear out seems like over night

it'd be pretty hard to name a brand with a worse quality to price ratio than current-day hugo boss. and thats across all their lines.

It's all a facade. In Japan, there is no Lexus brand name, until two years ago. They were selling "Lexus" models under the Toyota badge in Japan.
Back when the NSX was exported, it was sold under the Honda badge in Europe and Asia, and only in North America, it was rebadged with the Acura name. The same exact car. The American Acura TSX was the European Honda Accord.

Now, most of these brands try to not sell the same body style under their regular and luxury brand names in the US so they aren't internally competing against each other, i.e. cannibalizing sales.
As for Lexus, the ES has been a rebadged Toyota Camry for the longest time. Not until 2013 did they start sharing less parts. The US Lexus IS models are known as the Japanese Toyota Altezza models. So there is no comparable Toyota model to the Lexus IS because they don't want to have internal sales problems. Also, the Scion brand name is basically a rebadged Toyota. The Scion xB doesn't exist in Japan, but it is a Toyota bB.
The Lexus name brand didn't exist in Japan unitl 2005.
The Infiniti name brand didn't exist in Japan until 2013.

Listen I don't live in Japan so all of that is irrelevant. I live in America and am telling u their models are WAY different here besides a logo.
