You came obviously came in this thread with the agenda of asking us who the #1 guy was out of 3 people who you obviously had already chosen your #1 with . . and then DJ Quik ends up being the runaway favorite and then you try to reframe this into a #2 vs. #3 thing

lyrically DJ Quik's music isn't even about lyrics so his fan base would never be interested in defending that, but impartially I can tell you that DJ Quik CAN BE lyrically tenfold over Styles P

DJ Quik's artistic credulousness is on whole nother levels compared to Styles P, you should go deeper into his catalog before getting into this discussion

- small town-like cities that aren't major municipalities but have dense neighborhoods rather than commercialized infrastructure. Places where it snows, and people chill inside of parked cars while rolling up mid-grade weed in a Phillie or Dutch Master, while their breath is visible because it's so cold. They're watching the smoke from their breath while keeping eyes out for cops because their friend in front seat is taking forever to split the Dutch Master because they're never fresh. Every now and then they throw down on a smaller bag of Diesel or Haze, these are sold as $20's in small bags that came from a smoke-shop and look like they're meant for hard drugs

They really don't belong in the same category. Quick should be compared to rapper producers and now that I think about it he he holds his own like a MF.

Styles needs to be compared to gritty street lyricist like kurtupt.

That would make more sense.

Styles P is dope as fukk to me. But when Kurupt goes in at 100, he's one of the best of all time. Plus, Styles never served 2000 emcees in 1 night before
