We're gonna get to the point where cars police us.
Police won't even need to do traffic anymore, your car will just notify them if you break the speed limit and print out a ticket from your dash.
If you got warrants it will just drive you directly to jail. If your tags expire, it won't start.

Car Mechanics at the dealership will get in on it too,
be like sorry we don't have to honor the warranty in this case, car says you wore out the swing rod by driving aggressively off road on Jan 23rd.

I wouldn't be surprised if the car just auto governed the speed. You're in a zone where 55 is the max speed limit and your car doesn't accelerate past 55.

Constant analytics is going to be a huge thing in these cars as well. All the statistics of your driving patterns and where you drive to will be remotely sent to a company, which I'm sure is already being done in these onstar enabled cars. Companies can eventually have data of all cars in a particular location at a particular time since these cars will constantly be transmitting data

What also needs to be talked about is hacking. As cars become more and more electronic in its functionality, the ability of hackers to control cars makes them much more dangerous.

I think that's a thing already
there's a teen mode in some cars and it curbs its speeding

It's not that deep. Some of yall need help.

Just like the government would never use social media to track and lock people up right? Just like schools would never remotely access laptops and see what students were doing inside of their homes. Just like how those voice assistants were never caught recording private conversations and sending them back to the company right?

Keep thinking all of this technology is just created in isolation. I'm sure PRISM was 'conspiracy theory' until Edward Snowden exposed that.

Late stage capitalism in a nutshell. It won't just be cars, it will be everything.

"You will own nothing, and you'll be happy" :francis:

This is the purpose of the internet of things, which is constantly harvesting data on every and anything and this leads to the 'great reset'. I would go beyond saying it's just due to capitalism. This will be the end result of the global financial system they eventually want to bring into place.

Is it cheaper then buying a used car?
It’s not. You never own the vehicle and there’s a limit on the number of miles you can drive. There’s nothing wrong with leasing. It’s good for some people, but it’s not a no questions asked better choice.

What if you live out in a rural area? What if you need a pickup truck for hauling? What if you just need something to get to work and back and is is not interested in getting something new until the wheels fall off?

It would make more sense for Tesla to just disable the car remotely and flash a message on the screen that payment is due immediately. Car is automatically re-enabled after payment. No need to pay a repo company. Now if it becomes a frequent occurrence, maybe then send for repossession.
:stopitslime:

I doubt they did this the day after his payment was due :mjlol:

Probably ghosted them for 3 months.
