shyt I'm in Seattle and they be about 6.99/lb.

For that price I just get short ribs ..similar taste and both require that slow braising method to break down the "gelatin".

Though I use an instant pot for both

Jamaicans ain't the only ones that cook oxtail. I got two packs and some neck bones in the deep freezer rn. I even make them with a hoisin sauce sometimes.

I'm used go to this Jamaican spot by me and get the Turkey Chops(fried turkey meat like pork chops) and two orders of Mac and cheese for the sides

This was years ago but the lady that ran it and made the food was making more mwdoing other shyt and stopped. Brehs used to say she stirred the sauce with her big toe and was trying to get with her cause the food was so good.
