That version of the video was definitely around before 2000. I remember seeing it on Urban X-Pressions all the time. And I hadn't even seen Scarface yet, so I didn't catch the reference at first.

I'm sure it's possible it didn't reach certain areas. Was just clarifying when it came out. I wasn't even really a big fan of Pac back then, but I def remember seeing that version plenty of times.
