You think Pac would have become what he was with Dre, Daz and the rest of that Death Row production? Just curious.

Maybe so, I think about it a lot actually.

You look at DR, the main draw for them was Snoop. If he was the most dynamic solo act of that moment and time, Bone was the most dynamic group so it wouldn't be like he'd wouldn't have added to what was already amazing momentum just like he did with DR.

On top of it...he might have lived to see the fruits of his labor by being able to avoid Suge's fukkery while still having some nikkas out west that could hold him down due to E being a real nikka.

Bone was never bigger then BIG

between 93-97 only rappers that's even really in the convo as far as popularity
Method Man
2 Pac

and that's it.

for as big as 1st of the month and thuggish ruggish was it wasn't till crossroads
when Bone Thugs really blew-up till 96. some ppl was till looking at them as another
crucial conflict till crossroads came and took them to the next level

By this time B.I.G. was easily the Biggest artist in the game

THERES SO MUCH WRONG WITH THIS POST.

people were looking at bone as another crucial conflict? IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND. crucial conflict was looked at as another bone thugs!!!! and you mention crossroads. that songs was #1 on the charts before crucial conflict 1st video even dropped. and crucial's highest selling album only went gold.

bone thug "really blew" out the gate. their 1st video broke the box' record for most-requests and the EP sold 3 or 4 mil.

bone was already arguably the biggest act out before crossroads. even the source has them listed as the #1 rap act of 1995. crossroads didn't even exist. meanwhile. the original e.99 etermal album had them nominated for Grammys, AMAs, soul train, billboard, etc awards before they even recorded crossroads.

and wheres dr dre & snoop doggy dogg in your post?

Read the post and what he replied to

No one was debating who was a bigger artist at that point

dude was making it seem like bone hopping on the biggie album was the opportunity of a lifetime that they shouldn't pass up.

that's why I made it clear that bone was arguably bigger than biggie. they were arguably bigger than everybody at the time.

IT NEEDED TO BE SAID.

Bone probaly sold a million of those albums, wtf yall talkin about....my hate of Biggie was barely strong enough to keep me from getting the album just to hear Bone:banderas:

real spit looking back at it.

bone being on there was the difference between me spending $30 as opposed to just dubbing it, like I did with "ready to die".

at least "ready to die" was a classic album. I wish I bought that instead.

outkast is the biggest but i feel u

ehhh. their big sales mostly came later on from outside of hip-hop. sorta like most of the beastie boys albums.

and that double cd when doubles only costed $20 is what really inflated their numbers.

With the success of 'Hey ya' I'm inclined to agree :wow:

but "hey ya" had absolutely nothing to do with hip-hop.

Speaking of Bone, I always wondered how the news was given to Wish that he wasn't gonna be on Notorious Thugs:jbhmm:

I done heard the song thousands of times, but still, I wanna hear a Wish verse on that joint. Ppl like to joke about Wish, but if you ask me, he murdered "East 99", "Budsmokers Only", "Everyday Thang"(Show sdtk), "Shoot 'Em Up", "No Surrender", and "The Points"(Panther sdtk)
