So you got a possible undersized backcourt in Ellie/Hill and you want to compound that with PG and Jordan hill in your frontcourt? And whose at the 3? CJ Miles? I mean its fine to put him atthe 4 in situational spots but not permanent. He doesn't have the frame to hang on the block like Melo or Green

I could see playing him at the 4 on offense but guarding the perimeter on defense. That's the only way this makes sense.

pg cant play the freakin 4. Marion could play the 4 because he could rebound plus they played at such a fast pace. marion was never really stuck on an island. In orlando hedo and shard were interchangeable plus they were playing with dwight howard. You playing with Ian Mahinmi who isn't a scrub. but He's not a legit starting center either. How can you ask that man who just came off a leg injury to play the 4 spot?

Ehhh...Bird wants them to play faster and play smaller, I think you could still see GP at the 3 for significant minutes b/c he's still gonna have to handle the ball and create offense (Hill is inconsistent & Monta is an undersized chucker). It's worth a try, they're not gonna be very good this yr either way

Maybe the Pacers will back off this as the season wears on and play him there just as a change of pace, rather than near exclusively
