This isn't true and is a lie I seen get spread around a lot .Canelo didn't ask for a catchweight.. Why would a fighter ask to drain himself? Floyd was trying to drag Canelo down to 147 and when they told him the lowest they can go was 152 Floyd used that to try and force Canelo into a take it or leave it deal to fight for the junior middleweight strap
