Breh :beli: if you can't debate valid points people are bringing up to counter your arguments, just stfu and lurk smh

can already tell the quality of this thread is gonna plummet
Yup and that's why I'm not bothering getting into a debate with any username in this thread that isn't a regular in the ring...

I don't got time for that casual stupidity, I get enough of that every time I foolishly visit NSB...

can we agree jim lampley is the worst blow by blow announcer in boxing history?

horrible voice to listen to.
irrelevant observations.
smugness.
invasive when he should be silent.

ian darke, when he used to call fights for boxing in england, is the best modern day announcer to me for fights.

as for this fight, its years too late, pac has lost a lot of mystique to me. this is gonna be like the 3rd duran/leonard fight. it aint gonna have the fire of the first.

if they were both prime it would be a pick em fight. pac mighta had the edge. he is too busy for floyd. floyd is better technically of course, but i always found that to beat a supreme technical fighter u have to be busy. have the stamina too keep that pace up. pac had that, and could also punch and was very fast. floyd would have had a night mare with that dude.

at the same time, everytime i doubted floyd, especially at super feather, he rose to the occasion. when he beat angel manfredy and diego corrales i felt those would be hard fight, and he was brilliant in both. plus marquez is an expert counter puncher and he be giving prime pac all he could handle, and floyd a better counter puncher than marquez.

at this stage, i go for floyd on points. easy fight.

flord bores you?
Floyd should stay in the middle of the ring?
Pacquiao has exceptional foot work?

just admit you dont watch boxing and keep it moving :camby:I aint bother reading the rest of your post just based off the first part :camby:

you were 0-3 by the time you hit your 3rd sentance :camby:

edit:

Manny cant cut a ring + gets frustrated quick + is horrible against defensive counter punchers. Theres a 0% chance this fight is even competitive unless Manny gets a lucky knock out.
Manny may not cut the ring off well but to say he has horrible feet work is doing too much... Manny can move around u really well.

It's like triple g, they say he has shytty feet work cuz he can only cut the ring off but he doesn't bounce around on his toes like others.

Mannys feet work is fine.

Mayweather: Pacquiao Had No Choice, He Needs Money

WBA/WBC welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. believes Manny Pacquiao, the WBO champion at 147-pounds, had no choice but to accept a fight with him for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather says Pacquiao's "back was against the wall" and the Filipino star is in need of money. The undefeated pound-for-pound king points to Pacquiao's tax troubles in the United States and the Philippines and he also take a few jabs at Pacquiao's inability to break 400,000 pay-per-view purchases for his contest in last fall against Chris Algieri.

If Pacquiao does have money issue, he won't have them for too much longer. The May 2nd showdown is likely to break every single financial fight record - including the pay-per-view record of 2.4 million, which Mayweather set with Oscar De La Hoya in 2007..

"And like I said before, I'm blessed and you can never take nothing for granted. The only thing I did was constantly work, constantly believe, constantly pray, and anything is possible. And like I said before, I can retire today and I'm okay. I was very, very smart investing my money in a lot of real estate, doing business with my big tyc00n buddies. The great thing about my career is I did it my way," Mayweather told Fighthype.com.

"A lot of guys are forced to do things that they don't want to do. I honestly believe that, at this particular time, even if Pacquiao didn't want to fight, he has no choice because his back is against the wall. The reason why his back is against the wall is because he needs the money. I don't. Every property that I have, from Miami to LA to Las Vegas, is paid for."

Nah degale wont be on PPV. AJ is fighting kingpin a couple weeks before so the degale card wont be sell-able on PPV.

yeah there's nothing wrong with manny's footwork that you can say that's a big flaw...if there was a big flaw im sure his delivery system to deliver the type of punches he throws with the power he has would be off or the fact he's able to land punches and immediately get out of punching range...when have you seen a fighter actually able to cut the ring off on him consistently and effectively? some balance issues he has thats really about it

There is no "may not cut off the ring', we have 64 fights that prove he doesn't do it at all...

Pacquiao's classic in and out Dempsey bounce is fine against stiffs and guys that come forward (Cheato, Rios, Hatton, Clottey) but ineffective if you can't cut the ring off against slick footed guys who move backwards waiting for you to lunge in (JMM, Morales)...

The only way you can get to Mayweather is by aggressively cutting off the ring and smothering him like Castillo, DLH and Maidana did...If you let him move around freely he will pick you apart once he settles in and gets his timing down...If you're content with following him around hoping to catch him by surprise you're digging your own grave...

Im on my phone but pretty much what prophecy said..

Add that Pacquaio gets frustrated easily mentally when his punches arent landing, and Floyd is the best at frustrating people by about round 3-4 once he figures their movements, its a fukkin wrap for pacquiao before the fight starts..

Report: Floyd Mayweather refused Cowboys' AT&T Stadium as venue in upcoming fight with Manny Pacquiao
463545116_42286869.JPG

According to Sports Illustrated, Top Rank, Pacquiao's promoter, wanted to open up the bidding for the venue to AT&T Stadium, but Mayweather refused to fight in Texas, so Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wasn't able to submit an offer.

The fight will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Combined, the two boxers have fought 15 of their last 17 fights there.
