I just did some research on Gamalier Rodriguez, who they are pumping up as being "legit", and see that 16 of his 30 opponents had LOSING records at the time of the fight with Rodriguez :scusthov:
His 25 career wins have come over opponents who have a combined 157-171 record at the time of the fight :dahell:
Over his "17 fight win streak", 5 of those 17 straight wins have come over opponents who had 0 victories at the time of the bout and 8 of those 17 straight wins have come over opponents with a losing career record at the time of the bout :what:

Floyd keeping it all tight sealed and he's been training for the past 4 months or so. On and off at least. Heard Ariza is feeding him well and he has a newfound power :mjpls:

Didn't see it with my own eyes but I heard he looks more lean and much bigger now. His shoulders are wider now too I heard :sas2: He's not cutting yet, but no words on sparring partners.

@SuikodenII Iron Mike Promotions had some money issues and schedule issues with networks. People want that Haymon money. Dude said Tyson been in the game too long not to know of the politics and finances well enough. Apparently, Vegas wanted all his fights but for less money which he didn't clearly agree with. Now the other people in the company trynna get the company from him and get some of the fighters as well. He said Tyson knocked on the wrong doors for money and didn't fully go over the contracts. He hinted that Haymon took a look at Tyson's fighters but he didn't wanna grab anybody yet. Arum not touching Arum's fighters though. Things may head to court. Tyson seems confident he will keep his fighters but his contracts are iffy in the company. He looks more like the face of the company and the name but not the paperwork and money

He talked about MGM monetizing the event to max profit. SHowtime is planning lotta events for the fight and Arum planning some tours as well. HBO refused to have Pac on All Access which is why we won't have it. There will be live workouts, interviews, bio, tours and they plan on showing some Pretty Boy fights leading up to the event on Sho. HBO will have their usual stuff but they wanna follow Floyd as well but the production will be top notch for all pre fight events. Lotta promo will be done. Commercials are being choreographed now so by next month things will start rolling out nicer.

They wanna go on First Take ESPN. Still being discussed.

In short, Floyd is focused and Ariza is treating him well :sas1: They wanna tour NY, LA, Miami, Vegas, Chicago but nothing decided yet. Lotta places they'd prefer are already booked so details still being worked on for that.

@SuikodenII my bad for taking so long to ask about Mike

This is all I needed to know. I know he's 38, I know that father time can hit at any time but with him, I don't think we've ever seen an athlete take such a fanatical approach to protecting and preserving his gifts. There are others like a Bill Romanowski or Hershel Walker but they've never reached these types of heights in their respective sport. There isn't a such thing as an offseason for him. I saw a recent pic of Maidana and this mufukka looks like he ate a house. Tim Bradley, for his world class physique, cuts way too much weight, Floyd doesn't have to get ready, he stays ready. That is a testament to his dedication to his craft when damn near everyone else abuses theirs to some extent

B-Hop was 38 in 2003 and still dominating at Middleweight....he beat a prime HOFer in Oscar De La Hoya when Hopkins was 39 years old:mjpls:

Would Floyd have the power to keep GGG off of him? No.

Could he attempt to "Lara" his way to a win? Yes.

Would it work? I don't know. SRL beat a prime Hagler at 160 though, so the precedent has been set. Hell, Duran fought Hagler at 160:manny:

It's not necessary that Floyd fights GGG though
Then he will never be TBE :francis:

He's never been one that I'd call a freak athlete. His biggest asset has always been his brain in the ring. I'm speaking physically only.

Duke you out your league in the ring. You clearly don't know what the fukk you talking about. There's weight classes for a reason.

Floyd KO's GGG in 6

we should start screening nikkas before they can even sign up for the site :pachaha:

WBC can't help themselves

http://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-pacquiao-wbc-creating-special-belt--87847

WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, says that a very special exquisite belt will be created for the winner of the May 2nd historic Mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“For this special recognition I would like to have emeralds or platinum, but everything will be defined during the next few weeks. This is because of the magnitude of the event, which will be broadcast via TV networks globally,” Sulaiman said.

Mauricio highlighted that this bout is one of the most important throughout the entire history of boxing, with a groundswell of anticipation in every part of the world. And both fighters must defend that prestige inside the ring, as there will be a great deal at stake during the bout.

“It came in a good moment and it will be an emotive event. Both are obviously putting their legacy at stake, to prove who's the best, satisfying an enormous expectance. They are also competing to be considered one of the best 10 fighters in the entire boxing history,” Sulaiman

With tickets being as sought after as gold dust, Mauricio commented:

“It is a big shame that tickets are staying with wealthy people. However, boxing fans will have the opportunity to watch the fight via TV. Economic interests are involved with resulting high prices

potshot and move? :mjlol: What has happened damn near every time Cotto uses his struggle footwork, he gasses early. He'll he's lucky Marg's eye was fukked because he was even coming on in the 2nd fight as well. I'd have more faith in this if I thought GGG couldn't catch him at all but he will and if this dude is sending 175lbers to the bushes with headgear on and running through legit 160lbers what is he going to do to a guy who isn't even a real middle. :beli:

If this fight gets made we need an avi/sig bet :shaq:
Cotto ass aint even a big 154 pounder. Nikka could probably make 147 EASILY. Get this blown up ass CHAMP the fukk outta here :camby:

so, all my dudes who been calling Floyd a chicken have been acting like "oh this fight doesn't matter much. Marquez ko'd Pac"

But 2 weeks ago, y all neggas were telling me Floyd is shook and would never get in the ring with Pac ? :dahell:

They don't even wanna answer who they think gonna win the fight. 1 of em was like "I hope it's a draw. I don't want Floyd to win. He's already getting too much money." I had to basically pulled it out of em to say Floyd. Nobody wanna bet on Pacquiao :snoop:
I still think MAY is shook. He never fought nobody even close to PAC, and his entire fanbase is based around him being undefeated. If he fought the absolute best of the best, he would probably be undefeated, but i think he takes nikkas like Marcos over fighting Khan or even Kell Brook cuz those type of fighters might give him problems late in his career. I dont think he was shook cuz PAC would beat him (which he wont), i think he was shook cuz the possibility of PAC winning is there. May vs Marcos told me a lot about Floyd. Truth be told, Floyd would have schooled that nikka 2-3 years ago. PAC destroyed Cotto, but MAY lost at least 3 or 4 rounds to Cotton.

All in all, i dont think MAY was ever shook to get in the RING he may have been shook at the thought of losing (it would hurt his pockets and that nikka cares more about his paper than his own pops). This will be a close fight, and in close fights anything can happen. If Floyd takes an L (even if its a controversial decision like PAC vs Marquez 3) then he loses a ton of "fans". But PAC been beat multiple times his stans font give a fukk if he loses cuz his resume is probably the best i've ever seen in my lifetime from a quality of opponents standpoint.
