good point. i brung up maidana not to say that PAC fights like him or that PAC vs MAY will play out like MAY vs MArcos did. i brought him up to show you guys that Floyd is not the same fighter he once was. truth be told, im not even sure that he is the #1 P4p guy in the world any more. there is no way that floyd (arguably the best fighter I have ever seen) should be losing more than 1 or two rounds against a nikka like Maidana. PAC fought bradley for 24 rounds and lost like 5 rounds at MAX, floyd fought Maidana (who is a B-level fighter living off the fact that he beat an unmotivated AB) for 24 rounds and lost at least 7 rounds.

Levels to this shyt, i understand that style make fights, but talent does as well. MAY should've gave Madiana the same treatment that B-hop gave Pavlik or that Manny gave chris. But i think I might be ignoring the fact that floyd could have been underestimating how tough Marcos is.

you comparing Algieri to Maidana now breh ? Alright. Carry on lol

he will if Floyd exchanges, but Floyd will probably look to keep the risks at a low, the biggest problem Pac has for Floyd is he is CLEARLY faster than him at this point. Back in 2009, PAC was still faster, but now Floyd legs have slowed down a bit. He cant run from Pac so he has to gain his respect. truth be told, i dont give a fukk who you are if you exchange with PAC he will hurt you. try to potshot him and he will spam combos at weird angles that score points on the card. The first half of this fight will be tight, but floyd will pull away in the later stages.

I think you should give PAC more credit than you are currentyl giving him.

Like you said beating tim bradley twice was very impressive....shyt ill go as far to say that the two bradley wins are better than any head that Floyd got on his resume (tim is better than over the hill ass dela hoya or underachieving ass zab) . Im not even gonna bring up morales and berrea (two of the best mexican fighters of all time)

now you've gone too far:mjlol:
lets not overate Bradly now
a solid win but lets leave it at that

floyd has gone toe to toe with bigger and stronger guys and came out okay
even when floyd goes toe to toe he barely gets hit:yeshrug:
i think you underestimating how well mayweather can brawl if he needs to
and believe me when i tell you this, pacquaio is not just gonna walk threw mayweathers shots

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is looking very focused during a session in Manila. Pacquiao is preparing for the mega-fight of the last few years, when he challenges WBA/WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a long awaited unification bout on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Rival networks HBO and Showtime will come together to stage the fight on a joint pay-per-view event. Most insiders expect the pay-per-view to become the biggest financial success in the history of the sport. The current record holder is Mayweather vs. De La Hoya, which generated 2.4 million pay-per-view buys in 2007.

goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
B-hop my nikka but he looking at this from the 2010 lens.

If the Floyd that showed up against maidana go up against the PAC that literally kicked Chris's ass around the ring for 12 rounds, then its gonna be a long fight.

I think floyd wins 8 rounds to 4. Not a complete blow out, but it will be a decisive win.
I think that was bored Floyd..this will NOT be. He will be super focused and if what @LeVraiPapi said is correct I might put a few bucks on the knockout:banderas:

Another Gold Medal

:patrice: I'm starting to see why Marquez likes Pacman's chances. He believes if Manny throws combinations Floyd won't have a shot to counter because Manny usually circles to his right after his combinations and Floyd won't be able to counter him since his left arm is being used for defense. :patrice:

edit the more I think about it the more I see this fight being a chess match

You can't shoulder roll against southpaws to great success because you leave yourself open for lefts. He's not fought a southpaw in a long time. I've always liked this vid

Note the stance, high guard, it's how he fights southpaw. Put the earmuffs up and go to work.
