You can't shoulder roll against southpaws to great success because you leave yourself open for lefts. He's not fought a southpaw in a long time. I've always liked this vid

Note the stance, high guard, it's how he fights southpaw. Put the earmuffs up and go to work.

so he goes to more of a conventional style

now you've gone too far:mjlol:
lets not overate Bradly now
a solid win but lets leave it at that

floyd has gone toe to toe with bigger and stronger guys and came out okay
even when floyd goes toe to toe he barely gets hit:yeshrug:
i think you underestimating how well mayweather can brawl if he needs to
and believe me when i tell you this, pacquaio is not just gonna walk threw mayweathers shots
You underrating Tim Bradley. He beats anyone at 147.

he will if Floyd exchanges, but Floyd will probably look to keep the risks at a low, the biggest problem Pac has for Floyd is he is CLEARLY faster than him at this point. Back in 2009, PAC was still faster, but now Floyd legs have slowed down a bit. He cant run from Pac so he has to gain his respect. truth be told, i dont give a fukk who you are if you exchange with PAC he will hurt you. try to potshot him and he will spam combos at weird angles that score points on the card. The first half of this fight will be tight, but floyd will pull away in the later stages.

I think you should give PAC more credit than you are currentyl giving him.

Like you said beating tim bradley twice was very impressive....shyt ill go as far to say that the two bradley wins are better than any head that Floyd got on his resume (tim is better than over the hill ass dela hoya or underachieving ass zab) . Im not even gonna bring up morales and berrea (two of the best mexican fighters of all time)

shyt you might be right :patrice:

I'd say Hatton and Corrales are on par with those wins imo :patrice:

Judah was putting paws on him(and got a kd:mjpls:) with the same punch Marquez was just talking about in that video the right hook from the spaw stance. Also chop chop hurt him the most I've seen since Mosley imo.

First few rounds, yeah, Zab will forever be the fastest Floyd fought in the ring.

This is some of Floyd's history versus southpaws.

Floyd out-landed Corley 283-150 in total punches, scoring of the fight 119-107; 118-108; 119-108
Floyd was 205 of 441 compared to 89 of 485 for Zab Judah. scoring of the fight 116-112; 117-111; 119-109

The southpaw thing has always been a myth. Floyd's biggest issue in the ring has always been someone that can jab. Oscar could jab, Marcos could jab and could Castillo. Everyone always talks about a blueprint, that's been the one. It isn't any surprise that the three people I named gave him his toughest challenges. Fight someone that can do that in addition to counter Floyd, then that could be a recipe for disaster. No jab = no chance against Floyd. That being said, Manny is going to put leather on him, he's too good of a boxer not to, I've just always though that this would be far easier for Floyd than the hype would indicate it would be. Similar to what B-Hop has said about the fight recently.

I never said it's a fact that he doesn't do well against southpaws but Zab did put paws on him get a legit kd and Chop Chop hurt him the most out of Mosley. Does that mean every southpaw will give him a tough time? No but it isn't outrageous to believe and a roided up Zab with better footwork, handspeed, combination punching and angles in Manny will have success as well.

"No jab=no chance against Floyd" So I'm assuming you are picking him in a clean sweep then :sas1:

I've said it time and time again, there is no easy W against Pacman, he is beatable but you have to go through fire to do it. Everyone in here talking "easy work" etc is in for a rude awakening, even my GOAT in Bhop :whew:
