- Mayweather-Pacquiao was harder to make than Lewis-Tyson.

- Bob Arum and the MGM do not have a good relationship. It was likely one of the issues that had to be overcome in negotiations.
- From those involved, Manny and Floyd meeting at the Heat game wasn't critical to the fight getting made, but it definitely sped the process up.
- Arum and Haymon met face to face at Moonves' house in Beverly Hills. It was critical to getting the fight made. Les Moonves is credited as being the hero in helping get the fight made.

I agree that they are all B-level fighters but Marcos and Khan are B minus and tim and swift are b plus (obviously swift is at a higher level since he sent amir khan brains into the bushes)

Cosign this, however...

whatever Dan says about this fight is with a grain of salt. Then, why the networks had to negotiate as well ? All Moonves did was basically convince Arum they were ready to go and tell him we're the A-side. Dan wrote an article about FLoyd fighting Cotto and was making memes even when FLoyd was on record saying he wants the fight.

I will go with my dude who gave props to Pac's wife and FLoyd for getting things started. Moonves could not force Pac or Floyd to get in the ring without their will. So, I wo9n't say they had 0 to do with the fight
