You are more of a Floyd fan that an boxing fan I see. I am not a Pac fan like that like I stated earlier. I am a boxing fan and I call it how I see it. I was typing on my phone the last time so I could not say everything I wanted to say. I am going to breakdown your thread for you.
Please do
I did not dismiss JMM knocking Pac out cold. It happens to the best boxers everyday but a knockout does not make a break a career. How many boxers are in the HOF that are undefeated? Only one I can think of is the Rock and he is not even considered the greatest boxer of all time. Lennox Lewis got knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman but did not affect his career not one bit. Pac got caught but hey you bounce back the next fight. He has been doing good ever since.
You dismissed the notion of FLOYD being able to drop Pacquiao, because according to you, "he has taken better shots from Clottey, Cotto, Mosley and Margarito and kept going."
That's dumb, especially when I mentioned that JMM (who has less power than all of them named) KOd him cold and Bradley (who has no power) hit Pacquiao with the 2nd biggest punch he has ever taken (after the JMM punch)
If Bradley can rock Pacquiao....why dismiss the fact that Floyd, who has more power and is a much more accurate puncher, can possibly do the same or even dropping Pacquiao as well
All the rest of that you typed has 0 relevance to what I was talking about.
I do not recall Freddie Roach stating it was clearly their fault that the fight did not happen. Everyone puts the blame on Arum but I think it was both camps that are at fault here.
I do think the drug test is a moot point as the NABC has its own procedure in place and none of this came with Manny until Floyd Sr, Floyd Jr and Paulie Malignaggi made a big deal about Pac's KO ratio while he was going up in weight. He never tested positive for anything. Floyd has also stated that if he wanted to fight him he would, he holds all the trump cards so your theory about Freddie Roach being the blame is a lie from the pits of hell.

Roach Admits Pacquiao Fumble in First Mayweather Talks

Back in 2010, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao were negotiating a highly anticipated welterweight showdown. The two sides were very close to a deal and just about every significant point was agreed upon.
Just when both sides were anticipating a done deal, the negotiations took a serious turn for the worse when Pacquiao rejected Mayweather's contractual demand for a random drug testing protocol.
Pacquiao's refusal effectively crippled the negotiations and led to a lot of questions being raised regarding his incredible run through the weight divisions.
Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach, who trains Pacquiao, admits his side is to blame for the first round of negotiations falling apart.
Since that time, Pacquiao tried to offer everything, without success, to get Mayweather in the ring - including a full agreement to take part in random drug testing and even a 60-40 split of the profits.
"At first there was a blood problem, Manny not wanting to give blood testing because he didn't like that at first. When we lost our first fight together, he forgot to do the blood testing before the fight, so he had to do it the day before. The commission demanded that he do it the day before. He said 'if I'm going to give blood, I'm not going to be back for three or four days.' He had it in his mind that would make him weak and so forth. He felt that's why he lost that fight. He kind of mentally thought that would make him weak," Roach told HBO's The Fight Game.
"The original negotiations were probably our fault for not going so well, because of the blood issues. After that we offered everything. We even offered a 60-40 split at one time. I think we ok'd that at one time. He just has been silent since that moment, never said nothing and never talks about Manny Pacquiao in fights."

You said "why didnt this fight happen 5-6 years ago?". Well, 5-6 years ago was 2009-2010 and Roach is saying point blank that THEY were at fault for negotiations falling through at that time period....not Floyd
Bu-bu-but, you're a "Boxing fan"...you should've read up on that before addressing
@Newzz on your Pacquiao stanning shyt
Floyd initial plans was to fight Cotto for his JMW belt to add another weight class to his resume. But DLH put it in place for the Cotto/Canelo fight to go through. Manny had just beat Chris Algeri and neither one of them had a fight scheduled. Floyd had no excuse not to fight him this time. Pretty cut and dry topic with that one.
What the fukk?
First off all, "Boxing fan".....you should know that Cotto doesnt have a Junior Middleweight Championship, and secondly, where did you make that shyt up from?
You're gonna just blatantly LIE to me and all of the other Hardcore Boxing Fans on here and that I wasnt gonna respond to this filfth?
Floyd was NEVER in negotiations to fight Cotto and never once brought up Cotto's name
Am I being PUNK'd? Ashton.. is that you?
that Floyd is focused for this fight, but not by choice. His back was against the wall with this one. When Floyd first made WW, he had a slew of people he did not fight that was prime in the division. Why didn't he fight Cotto(undefeated), Cintron(undefeated), Williams(undefeated), Margarito, The Viper? These are people he clearly avoided when he first got to WW. Also if he is so called the best, when he fought DLH he weight in at 150 at the weigh-in, how come he does not test his skills at 154? These are just some of the questions Floy fans fail to answer. We can go on all day bro, this is on you but I know my boxing. I am not hating on Floyd at all but if the greats go up in weight and fight the best, why can't him?
Also I go Manny in 12 UD also
All this extra shyt, again, has 0 relevance to the topic at han
"Bu-bu-but why didnt Floyd fight undefeated Cotto?"

Cotto didnt want to fight Floyd at first, and then was destroyed by Margs before he was able to even get the balls to call Floyd out. Floyd DID want to fight him
"Bu-bu-but, why didnt Floyd fight undefeated Cintron?"

And you call yourself a BOXING FAN? You're gonna ask me something stupid like this? REALLY?
"Bu-bu-but, why didnt Floyd fight undefeated The Viper?"

:yeahright: Mr. "Boxing Fan"....you are aware that while Forrest was losing back to back fights against Mayorga (effectively being twice defeated) at 147, Floyd was still at 135 right?
"Bu-bu-but, why when he fought DLH he weight in at 150 at the weigh-in, how come he does not test his skills at 154?"

You're kidding me right?

You gotta be fukkING KIDDING ME
Floyd did duck Punisher and Margs imo, but you do not know very much about Boxing sir. I suggest you learn more about Boxing before trying to get at those who know a LITTLE more about Boxing than you do
I'll give you a A for effort though
