Watching this video, Floyd doesn't look or sound excited. I was expecting to see some swag and shyt talking like " sushi roll eater" blah blah. His attitude in that video is more like "hi and bye...".

too focused to clown around. he's zoned. he's matured since his DLH days. he's almost 40 now.

Floyd is completely tired of boxing guys

He's over it in the same way Andre 3000 is over rap except for Floyd work ethic won't allow him to not give his all.

as far as the promotion, he knows he doesn't have to sell the fight. It sells itself. Even the all access leading to this fight has been pretty trash.....to be honest I miss it. 24/7 Floyd mayweather used to be some of the most entertaining stuff on television....

these articles sum it up....

I think Manny can put Floyd in trouble early on; perhaps even give him his first knock down.

No matter how much you prepare for a fighter, you can't get a sense of how fast their hand speed is or how hard they hit until you get in the ring with them. Most of Manny's opponents after the 1st round soon realize that his foot speed is a lot better and hand speed is a lot quicker than they anticipated. Beyond that you also have to deal with the fact that he is throwing punches in bunches, and from different angles.

Floyd being a counter-puncher and relying on his timing and instincts will take a few rounds to figure Pacquiao out. Before that I think he might get hurt, but ultimately regain his composure by the 4th and 5th rounds, and begin to dominate the fight by the 6th round (but possibly being behind on the cards). From there I would give him the advantage as he gets his timing and uses his jab and wingspan to tag Pacquaio as he comes in. I can see him knocking a frustrated Pacquiao out late a la Ricky Hatton.

Floyd Mayweather does not want Manny Pacquiao fight - Roach

Mayweather v Pacquiao
Venue:
MGM Grand, Las Vegas. Date: 2/3 May: 21:00 local time/05:00 Sunday BST

Coverage: Live text commentary on the BBC Sport website

Manny Pacquiao's trainer says he fears Floyd Mayweather might not turn up for Saturday's super-fight in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Mayweather are set to split upwards of £150m following their welterweight bout at the MGM Grand.

But Freddie Roach said of Mayweather: "I really am wondering if he's going to turn up on the night.

"I don't think any fighter is afraid, but I don't think he wanted this fight. He was forced into a fight he didn't want to take."

Roach added: "I just don't know why Floyd has gone quiet for this fight. His speech is very subdued."

I don't know why people are saying Floyd is nervous, I just think he is focused and people are thrown off because he is not acting like 'Money'

Floyd knows he doesn't have to sell this fights like his others.. The media was probably expected his antics and trash talk.
