California among other states didn't follow their own rules in pursuit of cheaper labor. Trucking is just the top of the iceberg when it comes to immigrant labor scams. In tech it's probably 10x worse with all these Indian body shops.

I disagree. I want to see the unqualified drivers lose their jobs and those who hired them lose their jobs too. Those also who helped with the illegal issuing of the CDLs lose their jobs too, because help had to also come from the inside of the DMVs.

I say that because I see it from a humanitarian perspective. Those people have families that depend on that income. It's unfortunate this is even necessary in the first place when they could've found something else to do. Because the licenses were given out when they shouldn't have been.
