Fair point I said "sometimes thecoli gets too caught up dehumanizing people" shouldn't have been addressed to you. So I'll concede there unc that wasn't what you did here. Moreso was addressing frustrations with the ones who do so on here. Please point out where I dehumanized them. I said unqualified; I said nothing about their immigration status. You are the one who is bringing this up as a response to what I have stated. You are the one erecting this Strawman to argue against, just so you can act like you are showing empathy, while I am not.
To your point tho, if the DMV insiders are the ones who corrupted the process the drivers are arguably the least culpable party. Its like a bouncer lettimg an underage kid in a bar you don't primarily blame the kid for getting in you blame the bouncer and the owner.
These drivers went through whatever process existed and were told they qualified. Some may not have even known it was corrupt. I agree the employers and DMV insiders should face the harshest consequences. But throwing the drivers under the bus equally, without distinguishing who was actually complicit, isn't accountability I just feel they are an easy target to dunk on. So I have empathy for them. When you're in poverty you'll do a lot to put food on the table. That's all I wanted to get across. My bad.
