i swore it off & bashed it in the past, but i'm back on it again

but i dont read paleo blogs, i dont like that theres a whole subculture (hippie yt's) based on this shyt

the gawd Elliott Hulse explains it here. its basically the same as cutting out all processed foods. thats how i think of it

if i get a craving for grains, i eat sweet potatoes, bananas, etc

the most bullshyt diet imo for regular folks is keto. thats for people who have no life & don't ever go out, & don't ever play sports. all they do is lift & do bodybuilder bro type things. but paleo is easily manageable. and i have 1 cheat day a week

Paleo is terrible not because it doesn't work, but because the science and reasoniing behind it is sketchy at best and it is too hard to follow. It is a "cult" diet and a hipster diet. There are FAR easier and equally good ways to achieve your goals.

Matter of fact, fukk ANY diet that has a gimmick attached to it. Everything in moderation is the only diet that matters. Calorie restriction and exercise = all you need. Unless of course you are a professional bodybuilder and need specific tricks to get sub 8% BF through carb cycling or whatever

Paleo is not the diet of our ancestors, people did not have access to that variety of foods in the old times. Peoples diets were actually very narrow as you could only eat what was local to you.

I tried it for a month it was way too restrictive. shyt had me tossing out all my vegetable oils and ordering $15 pints of organic ghee. when I read kasino's thread I realized how pointless this diet is.

I just try to eliminate process foods and eat close to the paleo diet but i no longer give a fukk about the particulars.

Yeah any three meals total during the week, used up my second one yesterday, dinner, had chicken fingers and fries from a fast food joint

With three meals a week like that why even label it paleo :lupe:

Well I usually don't go ham like that, like my cheat before this was a piece of lasagna for dinner, one before was a bowl of raisin bran cereal for breakfast (with almond milk)
