Nothing crazy but too very odd experiences.
1. Travelled to Philly with my wife for her job related conference. On the last day of my trip, I went to visit the Eastern State Penitentiary. I like visiting historical buildings. It also happens to be considered one of the most haunted places in the US. Anyway I get there, pay the entrance fee, and they give me headphones for the audio tour. I walk up the stairs to the courtyard where I put on the headphones to start the tour. Just then my phone starts buzzing like crazy. I get 2-3 notifications from my JetBlue app telling me that our return flight home was cancelled. I also got an notification that I will be contacted with further updates. I start to freak out because it was a Sunday and the local news told everyone to prepare for a large snow storm. It was around 11am on Sunday, and the city had already cancelled school for Monday. I did not want to get trapped in Philly, so I called my wife and I walked around for 5 mins waiting for her response. She was like, lets head to the airport. I grab an uber, take it to the hotel where I meet her with our bags, and we both take the same uber to the airport. We get to the ticket counter and I show them my cellphone. They look at me confused, as they have no record of my flight being cancelled. They literally take my phone and show it all the other people there. They say the notifications look legit, so they make a bunch of phone calls. All calls say the flight was not cancelled. They were baffled, but cool and put us on an earlier flight since we were there already. We fly home without a hitch, but later that night I get a Jetblue notification alerting me that my original flight home landed safely.
2. I went to an indoor water park named Great Wolf Lodge just outside of Boston. I use to take my kids there about once a year. That last time I went, we were in the area of the locker rooms. I finished showering and getting dressed first, so I waited for my wife and kids. I was waiting in the hall with other parents who were also waiting for people to exit the locker rooms. At the end of the hall was a metal door. We all started to hear knocking from that door. After a minute or two sets of knocks, one of the parents went to the door and tried to open it but it was locked. People were yelling to the person behind the door that it was locked. The knocking continued. New parents would come, hear the knocking, then either try to open the door or yell that it was locked too. After about 5 minutes of knocking it all stopped. Eventually an employee walked by and I mentioned that someone kept knocking on that door. The young female employee went to the door and opened it with her key. It was just a large storage closet. The guy next to me said out loud, "Must be a ghost". The employee laughed and replied, "Oh, there are plenty of those here." I asked what she meant, and she said many employees experience weird stuff there all the time. She said that the most common was a little girl is often seen roaming the hall on particular floor.
