So then only rich people can have guns. Great idea.
You can tax certain types of guns and bullets higher and ban others.

How many bullets you need to protect your house? If you can't kill an intruder with no gun within 12 bullets. Maybe you shouldn't be firing guns in the first place.

actually i'm in the 10th congressional district so val demmings is my rep. i do like steph though and did donate to her last time when she asked, i'll do so again because she'll need the help. val is safe.

and bill nelson definitely has my vote and he'll get the majority of my donations this cycle because skeletor is just bad news.

and i'll feel even more comfortable talking to my neighbors this time because i helped so many of them out after irma.
Val demmings is your rep:ohhh:

Mine too:blessed: she’s the rep for dr Phillips

See how we’re already getting to a point where the plan is unworkable?

You gonna have to be a fukkin millionaire just to go to the range smh

The policies that most people agree on, such as a stronger background check, preventing people with mental health issues from being able to purchase guns, stronger enforcement of gun crimes (while doing away with minor drug possession etc), closing gunshow loopholes - would lead to the decrease in gun violence that people are looking for.

You’re not going to ban/restrict your way out of this. Yes I know it worked in Australia etc but the circumstances are not even remotely comparable.

Trying to ban guns in the US would be akin to trying to ban whisky in Scotland. Yes if it were possible there would be a positive benefits but for a wide variety of reasons it won’t work.

1. A small handgun or rifle for protecting your family isn't what should be gone after. Assault weapons and the items that are used to modify weapons into semis shouldn't be easy to get. People who own gun ranges can get special discount for bullets so you can practice all you want ie we know who has all the bullets.

2. Background checks are good especially for domestic abusers losing guns. But we have to be honest about how many guns are out there now. People can get guns too easy now cause there are so many floating around. We aren't going to have a "gun burning" for all these guns. So moving forward, how to make sure the Military gets what it needs but those same weapons aren't turned around and sold into America(the same way cops are now using military tanks and such against it's own citizen just cause of a surplus).

3. We ban stuff all the time. Animals, types of hunting, types of ingredients in products, etc. It's not a zero sum game. It's a reduction method.
Gun don't grow on trees we can control how many are released.

The honest truth is gun manufactures won't make a great deal of money off small handguns. Cause most people don't own multiple guns. So it's up to them and the NRA to make sure the small percent of Americans who buy guns by as many as they can. Similar to comic manufactures in a way( the number of buyers fall so they need those remaining to buy multiple one and at a higher price).

let me ask a question. if you had the power to pass any gun related legislation, what would it look like?

I don't really care tbh.

I'm for all guns being illegal, I'm cool with, taxation, I'm fine with the sandy hook bill that failed...it's whateva

I'm from ny. 3 yrs for a gun. I ye shrug at people upset about not being able to go to the range. Lol like what?
