So. Cal
Lets address all the issues, deal?. Not every human is fit to have a gun. And if you can't drink liquor till you 21 you probably should not get a gun till you 21 as well. I also purpose we make it harder for these loner types to get a gun some how. But that is not solving the problem. That could prevent some tragedy's from happening. But everything else this man has said needs to be addressed.
Go back into hiding

I am promising myself not to get into this same usual gun control bullshyt "debate" today.
But I have to say as a gun owner and in a household with numerous guns
I support more and better background checks, I support enforcing exsisting laws consistently
I support mandatory gun safety training, I support increased licensing
I support prohibitions on persons arrested/convicted of domestic violence keeping exsisting weapons
Or aquiring new ones I support waiting periods, I support closing the gun show loophole, I support reenacting
The mental health restrictions that President Obama signed and Cheeto just repealed to suck the NRA off, back into effect.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

None of these things should bother law abiding mentally stable gun owners.

No this is not a "gun grab"
No there is not gonna be a wholesale ban on guns.

People who argue this way are purposely being dishonest, and they know they are.

Agree. shyt everyone should at least agree to this.

Nobody should own a fukking assault rifle like how is this controversial? :snoop: An assault rifle has no practical purpose other than the killing of other human beings. I have rifles and shotguns, I use them to hunt. In no universe is an AR-15 designed to hunt anything other than human beings.

That said, they also are not the issue. Handguns and the ability to access them easily is. I can drive to Maine right now, buy a handgun and drive back to my house without even being ID'd. It needs to be immeasurably harder to acquire a handgun, again something that's purpose is basically solely to kill other human beings, than it is now.

That we as a country are so fukking afraid to even have this conversation that we're actively attempting to stamp out the dialogue over it yet again despite having a murder rate higher than the former Yugoslav states, is a god damn issue.

I don't care what they say...

You can't convince me there is no link between psychopic insanity and melanin deficiency...

Gangster kills somebody for survival and is a product of his environment...

Mohammad straps on bomb to himself because you dropped bombs on his fam...

Suburban Kyle walks into a school with an AR15 and kills his classmates because they laughed at him...:gucci:

shyt like that gets our eyes off the ball. What's your end game making claims like that?

When some White person sees a news story about a kid from the city murking someone because he felt disrespected, or reads about some psychopathic warlord somewhere, do you expect them to come to the same sort of conclusions you do?

I ain't talking just regular gangbangers, "killing somebody for survival" as you excuse, you full well know there people acting demonic on the streets and some of dem all don't have the greatest excuses for it either. You know that Osama bin Laden was rich as hell before he started down the terrorism route, as are a lot of other of those leaders. Mentally psychopathic people exist in every damn race and culture.

And like our community doesn't also have a massive issue when it comes to mental health and how we deal with it.

I have guns, like guns, and think more responsible people should have guns.

I am also for stricter, common-sense gun control and mental health screenings. People with a history of assault and violent crimes should have a more difficult time getting a firearm, and people with a history of mental illness should be barred from owning a firearm.

In response to those who say we have enough gun control laws...that's the problem. It's not uniform. The fact that guns are mostly regulated at the state level is the problem, and too many people are afraid to say that handing gun control to the federal level would solve many of these issues.
