Hell there isn't even uniformity in enforcement within individual states. Rural areas lax the laws.I have guns, like guns, and think more responsible people should have guns.
I am also for stricter, common-sense gun control and mental health screenings. People with a history of assault and violent crimes should have a more difficult time getting a firearm, and people with a history of mental illness should be barred from owning a firearm.
In response to those who say we have enough gun control laws...that's the problem. It's not uniform. The fact that guns are mostly regulated at the state level is the problem, and too many people are afraid to say that handing gun control to the federal level would solve many of these issues.
