It's not even that 16 is old, it's that he's literally being accepted to Harvard on the basis of what he was doing when he was 16.
If he was a "different person" when he was 16, then maybe Harvard should have told him, "Sorry, we thought we were accepting that guy who did those things you wrote on the application. If a different person did them then your resume has gotten a bit too thin for us."
