even before he was drafted he was regarded highly for his playmaking skills

he averaged 6 ASTs a night his 1st season in PHX

Spurs beat Dallas and blew out Portland without Diaw. Diaw is a problem for the Heat because they are a small team. This offense isn't predicted to Diaw balling..

Never doubted his playmaking skills- that I'll give you. But he was a blackhole when he got the ball in Phoenix. Held it and then tried going showtime to the basket. His laziness on the floor and off of it obviously was why he was out of the league. You can't be a lazy player play on the Spurs...he's changed.
