I mean from my experience abroad, they Don't really view us like that. Once you land in any of these places you are simply an American. All your behaviors and annoying hijinks are simply pegged to you being another American tourist. As a nationality, we honestly don't have a good reputation.

I think Russians and Brits are the only nationality with worse reputations than us.


I've even brought up the whole black/white thing abroad to locals in many countries and I've got nothing but confused looks from them cuz they really don't separate us. those are just mindsets we take with us when we go out there.

Perhaps that's another reason why some of those brothers be coming back broke, and not from just spending on girls, unless those girls be playing a part in it. If you know the history of America, this same thing also happened to a lot of freed slaves who owned property after the civil war, through eminent domain. I know it happened to my great grandfather. So anyway, this can be more than just a passport bro thing, when it comes to buying 300,000 dollar homes overseas, and coming back homeless. These kinda things have also happened to White Americans who bought land overseas. As for as retirees, I can see how some of them can come back homeless, but I don't see them coming back broke, unless they retired broke.
