The Reddit user who submitted the image explained in the comments section that the receipt was part of a total bill of over $200 for a party of 20, which is why the gratuity was automatically added.
Yep. I have worked in food service and I refuse to go out with people who are cheap and/or don't tip.My thing is, if you don't want to pay for the service, cook at the house or take yo ass to Mcdonalds.
Even if I get the worst service known to man, I will still tip the minimum out of respect.
same here, that could be some underlying OCD though![]()
How about the companies pay a livable salary without tips?
Most people can get the food for themselves if they have to. Blame the cheap companies not the customers.![]()
The part everyone is missing here is that MOST christians don't act very "Christ" like. Even a woman at my job who calls herself a christian, is anything but-she's freakin rude and has an attitude. What would the Lord do? I went to Applebees last month w/co-workers and my total was $16, and I left an $8 tip for our waitress. It's okay to be generous with your money. Geez louise!
As long as you would be ok with the rising food costs then paying them a livable wage would suffice. To pay them more, they would have to charge you more.
the food industry operates the way it does for a reason.![]()
They don't have to do anything.Customers run the restaurant industry.
