Nobody said that every single one of us are influenced by the music. But those of us that are weak-minded are definitely influenced. It should only be entertainment; which Bron understands

i agree. there is other factors involved for different people, whether it be parents, poverty, critical thinking, etc. that's why it's lazy to just say

Breh…you do realize Ja was brought up in the suburbs in a 2 parent home and him and his sister had everything they wanted, right? That’s a lot of the reason why everybody is going in on his stupidity. Any sports broadcaster that has talked about the situation has said “he’s not hard. He never struggled and he wasn’t raised like that”.
While Pat Bev was actually brought up on the Westside of Chicago.

It's not just Morant either. A lot of this young, black Gen-Z population is entirely too enamored by violence and gangsterism regardless of their background, and drill music is really at the center of it all.

But i don’t think anybody is saying it’s only the music. The problem is, the music definitely plays a part and is something that needs to be done away with.

Your parents, being born into poverty, and in some cases critical thinking aren’t things that can be changed (immediately) but the music can.

And on to the poverty thing; who is out here killing to eat or for a roof over their head? They’re barely even robbing over money or drugs anymore. They’re killing over words, a woman, what “block” they’re from, MUSIC, or just to kill. The poverty excuse has to stop too…

Beverly has been shipped around the NBA like Uhaul truck past 2 years he's reaching to stay relevant by making controversial takes like this. Remember this guy grew up in the Chi which is notorious for gun violence. Wonder if he blames music for that as well rather than root causes.
Tf does that have to do with his opinion ….that’s that LSA type response :scust:

-‘Hey I think it’s gonna rain tomorrow’

-Didn’t you get fired from yo job last year. I know your broke ass ain’t tryin to forecast no weather

:snoop:

100% right we all know crime didn't exist before drill music

Drill music is hypnotizing people into holding guns and committing crimes!!! I heard a drill song the other day and almost shot someone. I couldn't help it!!

Those drill songs get millions of streams, that must mean there are millions of murderers in the United States.

We need to stop this music from hypnotizing more people, otherwise we'll all be dead at this rate!!

You ever lived in poverty? You ever missed a meal? We just came off a pandemic we’re kids was missing meals cause schools was switching to remote learning. Hell even in England it was brought up and they don’t half the violence we do. Let me tell you Poverty and Pain will make a young nikka insane,. If I had to kill or rob for some food I would in a heartbeat. I wish poverty no one.

yeah i seen you say that goofy shyt in some other thread and its a statement that lacks critical thinking and ability to see cause and effect

there is a reason why reparations are critical thing in the black community, and part of it is deciding where to put resources, if not just outright money, to improve the communities.

it's not even something to reinvent the wheel about like you are attempting. unlike the rap music excuse, poverty actually has been studied by every nation in the world and there is not one that thinks it's not detrimental to communities and not a contributor to degenerate behavior lol

So, does every nation in the world where there is poverty run around shooting each other for not much of a reason at all? Talk about stupidity and lack of critical thinking.

That means you’ve also seen me say “stupid people don’t know they’re stupid”; and I’m very self aware…

I was born and raised in poverty like a great bit of the rest of us. Nobody I grew up around had to kill to eat because killing doesn’t buy food. Robbing does, sometimes, but it’s very rare that it’s ever the case.

Again, using “drill rappers” as an example; which one of them nikkas is robbing to eat or killing for money? There really ain’t too many people out here hurting others to eat or to live

your fukkin stupid to think the only level of violence involves shooting with guns :mjlol:

"if they aren't gangbanging it must be a first class society" face ass :skip:

Mahatma Gandhi had stated that “poverty is the worst form of violence,” a phenomenon that mainly plagues the population in the developing countries. Poverty is key issue for human rights, sustainable development, social cohesion. This phenomenon has been concerning the international community from 1945.

The good life 😎
A decent portion of the league probably listens to the same music and aren't doing the same shyt Ja Warrant is doing. This is a Ja problem and is nothing more than him being too stupid to know better. :what:

When did I ever say that? The topic is a rich nikka who flashes guns. And if it’s any other form of “violence” then in most cases, nobody is going to have life threatening injuries. Once again, who is out here hurting others to eat? Because I don’t hear about that much.

The more you quote the more I see I’m correct about you…

Maybe if his father was an actual role model to him and not a flunky “entourage “ member he wouldn’t be looking for validation from other men thru “drill raps” …I know other people don’t have this problem …LeBron listens to the same music ..why is it only the case with nikkas like JA :francis:

Yes...after listening to Ready to Die and Reasonable Doubt in JHS, I too began to sell crack and bust my gun indiscriminately

Pat Bev is the point guard pass around of the NBA

That's why his ass was crying last playoffs for making the play in, because that hoe thought that he'd finally become a housewife :camby:
I bet somebody around you did, though. Statistics, ratios, scaling, etc matter. Nobody is ever saying the music influences ALL OF US but there are people out here that can’t separate entertainment from reality.
