Maybe if his father was an actual role model to him and not a flunky “entourage “ member he wouldn’t be looking for validation from other men thru “drill raps” …I know other people don’t have this problem …LeBron listens to the same music ..why is it only the case with nikkas like JA :francis:
nikkas like Ja are fascinated by that lifestyle and think that’s what a black man is supposed to be like

Why is he like this and LeBron isn’t when they digest the same content :jbhmm:

I don’t know if it’s music but it’s something. You got a dude damn near willing to throw it all away by trying to look tough on camera. You literally made it. You are a star in the league. Why are you trying to emulate these crazy ass rappers? shyt don’t make sense to me. The “they were killing people to Marvin Gaye” excuse is too cheap. Moses Malone and them weren’t holding guns up in front of polaroids either… People wouldn’t let that argument fly though.

Because some people are more impressionable and weaker-minded than others. Some of us think we have to be a “real nikka” to be accepted
Ok.. so he has a mental problem is what you’re saying?

Only a weak ass nikka get influenced off of music to the point of committing crimes.

what Ja did wasn’t a crime, but I do think he is trying to portray something he’s not.

All it takes for destruction to triumph, is for one mentally weak person to impersonate negativity that is glorified in the media. Everyone in here forgets the Power of One can do to society as a whole.

If that’s the case, a LARGE part of our community has a mental problem. And since you’re on social media everyday, you clearly know one of the causes of those problems is this music because it’s blatant.

There’s way more layers to it than “NBA Youngboy and 21 savage rap about robbing and killing ppl so I wanna kill people too”

You have:

- Rappers get all the girls
- Rappers are “cool”
- Rappers get money
- Rappers have jewelry
- Rappers have expensive foreigns
- Rappers are tough
- Rappers are famous
- Rappers smoke, drink lean, do drugs
- Rappers dont work, they sell drugs
- Rappers are respected in the hood
- Rappers dont snitch
- Rappers have guns

The music promoting a toxic lifestyle + Rappers get all the bytches = The youth trying to live that lifestyle which increases the probability of the kids ending up in fukked up situations.

All this shyt is driven by p*ssy, money, and being loved/respected.

The road to obtaining these things via gangster rap music’s message could have you end up robbing, stealing, carrying a gun, scammin, drinking lean to look cool, booking studio time to become a fake gangsta rapper, rapping about guns u dont have, rapping bout opps :dead:

Because a lot of the things we value as success in this world don’t help with your soul. In this life people think if you are rich, famous, and/or very talented then that’s all it takes to make you the equivalent of a super human, not understanding that having optimal intelligence, empathy, and critical thinking skills are more likely to keep your life stable and normalized. Your brain, the way your mind works is literally the most important thing in your life because it houses your soul, if that’s not in order you’re basically a zombie, weather that be to greed, lust, drugs, etc, you’re simply a husk with a bag.
