he said he’s the one who suggested going for cody’s soul. then after brainstorming for a while creative suggested cena being the one to turn heel instead and said he loved that idea as well and told them to run with it. from there he didn’t feel he was needed as much anymore and thought cena could take it from there.

I don’t think Rock cares about the product that much. Has he criticized Trips’ booking? They probably just have beef and can’t let it go. If clowns hold grudges over play fighting opinions, it’s even worse in business and other forms of competition where you gotta look out for yourself.

You making a lot of assumptions. First of all. Nothing about last year was a failure in any way. I don’t know what you talking about

Second if that had happened then there would be a whole lot less people complaining. You can’t please everyone but you can please more people than they did.

The purpose would have been instead of Travis Scott the rock costs Cody the match and that adds more tension to a potential match for them down the line. It also shows that cena will do anything for 17. It would have made so much more sense.
