Woj never liked Lebron, but he got especially butthurt after releasing the "scoop" that Lebron was staying in Cleveland just 4 days before The Decision. Woj's whole reputation is built off of his anonymous scoops, and he held mad vengeance against Lebron after getting that one wrong.

Sure, lots of people thought that Lebron might return to Cleveland at some point after winning championships in Miami. But AWoj intensified his mad hate against Lebron for the next couple of years, and everything he wrote about him was colored with insinuations and unprovable claims. He didn't really drop the hate until Lebron won the title in 2012. (Even during the 2012 playoffs, Woj was writing things like, "This is why Lebron isn't a winner and won't get it done again this year.") Can't believe a thing that dude said during that time period when it comes to Bron.

In 20 seasons of running the Heat, only 4 losing season, 3 titles, 6 NBA Finals, etc.......Since Michaels Bulls were dismantled, only the Lakers and Spurs have been more successful. Organizations win titles, yes great players do to.....but it all starts from the top, and Pat Riley has been successful in that regard and will find a way to make the team a winner again.

As for this past season....I had predicted a 45-50 win season and here I am eating crow. However a lineup of Deng, Bosh, Whiteside, Wade & Dragic could be a contender if they can add the right pieces to that. Curious to see where Miami lands, as the draft pick is Top 10 protected. A leap in the lottery to a Top 5 pick could be huge.

As for Lebron and the Cavs, yeah might make the Finals.......but I don't see them beating anyone out of the West. If Love walks at the end of the year, Lebron and company drop below the Bulls/Heat/Hawks in the East next season.

Yeah. Obviously I would rather that he chose to stay, but to run the 2010 playbook again after spending years talking about how that was a mistake just feels wrong. It's even more so when the reason for leaving in 2010 was a good reason and that is clearly not why he left last year. Let's not kid ourselves, the heat always manage to add quality players at a good price, and we only needed to improve the supporting cast and maybe stop playing small ball. I don't think it was a stretch to assume that Riley could add some quality veterans who would fit well. It wasn't like Cleveland gave up a ton for smith, Shumpert, and mozgov. If you want to leave because you think another team is a better fit, say so. He at least said as much during the decision. The whole coming home to bring a title to little old ohio feels more than phony and PR motivated.
