You clearly didn't watch enough Chiefs if you think it was just the playcalling that lead to Mahomes success. A bunch of the Chiefs biggest plays were broken plays were Mahomes had to leave the pocket and create on his own. Teams already have thrown a bunch of different defensive looks at him which he adjusted to by the end of games. If he can survive a playoff game against Beli and still put up a huge second half I have full faith in him being a star.Book it
Now we all know this is Mahomes third year technically but second year playing.
Never have I seen a player benefit from amazing play calling like I have Patrick Mahomes did in 2018. Andy Reid is probably the best offensive play caller in the NFL today.
In 2019 with much more game tape on him, without a dominant run game, and the Madden Curse I expect Mahomes to struggle in 2019 and the Chiefs will not make the playoffs!
