I can understand this take. When the pick was made, everyone acknowledged that it was a project, boom or bust pick.
I still don't believe trading him for Grant was the move. That's easy to say in hindsight. I do think the move that AKME should have made was to trade back on draft night. Could have taken a more NBA ready player and potentially still drafted Pat later on.
With that said, I'm still patient. I see he's done in many Bulls fans eyes. They look forward to him having trash games. Wild how he plays good against BK and Philly and it's not nearly any praise, but when Passive P makes an appearance it's completely fukk him from nikkas.
