I got no problem trading him as long as we get something valuable in return.

I ain't stress enough how dumb Mitch was for not trading Pau sooner. I know he got debacled with CP3(I still wonder how great those two would've been) but he still shoulda made moves. Stop gettin fooled with those short spurts of brilliance dude is done.

Mitch didn't want to trade him just for the sake of trading him. Pau's contract also made it difficult to trade him since many teams were rushing to get under the cap and Pau had one of the largest contracts in the league.

He wasn't getting punked around in 2009 and 2010. Way to fix a post which says he's falling off just to strictly shyt on him.

something significant happened during the 2011 playoffs, that was when shyt started to go downhill. early that season Pau was beasting then when Bynum got back he started to regress and during the playoffs he just disappeared completely. Since then he's had flashes of brilliance while drifting between mediocre to awful.

It fukked things up because the news of the trade leaked before the veto....once word got out Pau and Odom's confidence was shaken, other teams saw what the Lakers were up to and became hard to deal with, and time was wasted trying to restructure the deal (that the league was clearly against).

Lakers fans are the most ungrateful pack of whiners.

Without Pau, Kobe's ring count would be lower than Tim Dawg.

So what you're saying is we should keep a player that's clearly fallen off and has been the direct cause of damn near everything negative for the Lakers on the basketball floor today and the past two seasons before? It'd be different if he were 2008 Pau but he's done.

shut up with this bullshyt.

I defend Pau A LOT, but it's inarguable that he hasn't shown up for a lot of games. people do tend to blame him TOO much for shyt, but he's been non existent for multiple playoff runs and he's gone completely missing on the defensive end.

Pau is an amazing playmaker and still one of the most skilled bigs in the league, but his approach the the game and health have made him a liability.

another big part of why Lakers fan go at him hard is he'll complain about touches but when he gets then he passes up good looks.

Plus there's the issue of his contract. if Pau was being paid as much as Kamen i'd argue half of the criticism would go away.

This is true but I think Pau wants out anyway. But they have been calling for him to be traded since like 2011.
