I don't know if Pau has anything left, but you're certainly not going to find out in D'Antoni's system.:yeshrug:

So what you're saying is we should keep a player that's clearly fallen off and has been the direct cause of damn near everything negative for the Lakers on the basketball floor today and the past two seasons before? It'd be different if he were 2008 Pau but he's done.

:whoa:

This is what i'm talking about when i say people blame him TOO much. Has Pau's level of play been a problem? without a doubt. Has Pau been THE biggest problem the past few seasons? fukk no....We've had inconsistent PG play for 4 years running, two dumb ass coaches, plagued by injuries, had Ron being virtually useless offensively, and went through our own Dwightmare.

and i still say the biggest problem this team has had the past couple of seasons is CBA now allowing older max contracts to be grandfathered in...if 15% of Kobe and Pau's contracts hadn't counted towards the Cap the Lakers could have picked up another solid player or two.

i'd agree with this except for the fact that Pau isn't even being effective anymore when he's in the post. last year when he was in the post Pau was still VERY effective, but now he's just getting abused and missing shots he normally makes. it's like he has no strength in his upper body to finish at the rim. He's also letting guys push him out of the paint...

It almost looks like Kobe is forcing the issue with Pau in an attempt to get him to man up.

I'm thinkin about the 2011 playoffs, that shyt made me sick. I might be slightly exaggerating but I mark that sweep against dallas as the moment Pau wasn't shyt.

I have. He's being a soft idiot on the block. What happened to him? He used to do a lot of different moves.

part of is is health, part of it is the system, most of it is just him being too fukking passive.

Pau can't be a liability on BOTh ends of the court. If he's not going to protect the rim he damn sure better be putting up numbers on the other side of the court. His rebounding and playmaking are great assets but not enough to outweigh his failings in othe areas.

Lakers fans are the most ungrateful pack of whiners.

Without Pau, Kobe's ring count would be lower than Tim Dawg.

Man get the fukk out of here. Since when are fans not allowed to criticize bad play? Kobe has had bad games and god knows you haters love to talk about them. Kobe was pivotal for 3 championships with shaq and led the lakers for 2 chips post shaq, yet there is not a week that goes by without some type of kobe hate thread. You people are fukking delusional.

Even i was calling for him to be traded after those playoffs. He wasn't injured or anything, he just didn't show up. What made it worse was that he was complaining about touches, guys tried to get him involved and he'd just pass up good looks. He was doing that shyt the night Kobe came back too.

Pau can be a great playmaker, but sometimes it's obviously he's ducking opportunities.

Pau has been :trash: since 10-11 season. I would say he's done but thats impossible given how good his fundamentals are. We all thought this was going to be a good year for him :snoop:

:patrice: weird thing is that dude dominate when he's playing for his country :russ:

Yeah I haven't watched much this year, but I heard him on the radio talking about how the only time he gets in the post is when he goes "rogue" in regards to the gameplan.
