NAH IVE LITERALLY
POSTED THE SAME POSTER
HES DONE EVERY SEASON
SINCE HIS INDY DAYS IN THIS THREAD.

HES ALWAYS BEEN A GUY
WHO WAS EXPLOSIVE WHEN
HES HAD A LAUNCH PAD.
OUTSIDE OF THAT HIS DRIVES
TO THE BASKET HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FLUKEY.

I agree he usually needed a launching pad but I still don’t think he’s been the same type of athlete after the injury. Even in those videos I’m not seeing the elevation he had in Indiana pre injury tbh. Also the initial burst to get by his defender seems to have fallen off a cliff. Now it’s all slow out muscle you drives. He could actually get by some defenders back in the day. He can turn back the clock sometimes but overall I think his athleticism took a hit. He’s always had a goofy handle tho. I think his handle has actually improved since his pacer days but I think he’s not as quick or explosive. If he never got hurt, paired with his improved handle, I think he’d be catching bodies on the regular

NAH

CAREER PLAYOFF HIGH
BEFORE THE INJURY.

DIDNT BLOW BY ONE PERSON,
HAD ONE FINISH AT THE BASKET
IN THE HALF COURT...

ALSO HAD 3 FAST BREAK DUNKS
WHERE HIS ELEVATION
WAS AT THE SAME HEIGHT
AS THE POST INJURY VIDS.

HES ALWAYS BEEN
VERY MEDIOCRE AT GETTING
TO THE RIM.

HES NOT A TRUE 3 LEVEL SCORER.

1000 OF HIS 1327 ATTEMPTS
WERE JUMP SHOTS THIS SEASON.

GETTING HIS OFF THE DRIBBLE
IS PURELY BECAUSE OF THE HANDLE.

Are you saying 1/4 of his field goals were dunks/layups? I havent checked the numbers. Thats a damn good percentage. Two of the three levels require jump shots so thats about right.

He drives and slithers/euros although he does have handles and can create space. Klay does neither effectively. And "Klay with handles and a worse J" is an entirely different player. Like saying Lou Williams is BJ Armstrong with handles and a worse J, no?

PGs game has never been predicated on getting to the rim tho. Always been more jumpshot oriented. So his best performances will almost always be mainly jumpers. But I honestly don’t think he’s been the same type of athlete since his injury. I just don’t see it on a night to night basis.

STEPH CURRY IS
THE BEST SHOOTER IN THE LEAGUE
AND 1/4 OF HIS FG ATTEMPTS
ARE LAYUPS....

WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT PGS GAME?

HES KLAY THOMPSON
WITH A HANDLE AND WORSE J.

Man watching this last playoff series could you say his surrounding cast helped him outside of Morris

:dwillhuh: Bev locked up Booker for most of the series, Zu had a couple of doubles doubles, Boogie was getting fronted/double teamed because he was beasting Saric & Reggie was Action Jackson

Crowder sucked for most of the series
Bridges sucked the whole series
Payne had one great game
Saric was ass
Torey Craig?
Cam Johnson was good

The Clippers lost because Paul didn't make free throws.

Terrible. Klay isn’t even in PG’s class tired of that dude getting overrated.

U can’t be Klay if you have a better handle and a worse jumper.
Yeah its an insult pg way better on offense lol. Pg lead the league in steals in okc hes a way better off ball defender too
