I read that comment and had the same gut reaction like "fukk is this nikka talmbout:dwillhuh:
"

Prime PG in terms of tools and skillset is THEE ideal prototypical wing, you couldn't create somebody with that type of handle, shooting, defense, and athleticism in a laboratory :wow:

I really thought he was gonna take that next step and be a top 5 player :mjcry:

2018-19 he was a top 5 player. He had the same caliber season that season as AD had this year. For some reason him and Kawhi just don't seem to fit. Maybe them not having a real point guard really hurt them.

So that Bucks team that made the ECF was he or Glenn Robinson their best player :jbhmm:

And while Ray Allen was never a pitbull of a defender he was never seen as a weak one, I highly doubt he was even a net negative

Bro, I know you read what I posted. I know you did. Again, is prime Ray Allen a 2nd best player on a championship team caliber player?

hell yes

If anything look at that 2004 pistons team, ray is far and away better than their entire starting 5

And I'm looking at that 2011 mavs roster and he's better than everybody but Dirk.

Some of those spurs teams he would have been the 2nd best player too

Those teams had multiple all stars though. The Pistons had 4 all stars, The Spurs had multiple hall of famers.

IF you replace Kobe with Ray Allen on the 3 peat Lakers do they win? Most likely not. If you place prime Ray allen on a team where he had to be the direct 1b/2 guy with no other all star caliber players after him, that team is not championship caliber.

what championship team can you think of off the top of your head that didn't have multiple all stars :jbhmm:

You asked if Ray could be second best, if you wanna fudge the rules now then who's to say the team he's second best on doesn't have a 3rd all star that isn't as good as him?

Also, you need to go look at some tape and stats of his prime because this Shuttlesworth slander is not a good look :francis:

Look, i was salty as shyt when he left the Cs to join the Heat too breh but you don't gotta cintinue to do this :heh:

also :mjlol: at you blatantly moving the goalposts like this in favor of circumstances that fit your flawed argument

I’m not movjng the goal post. You are obviously a Ray Allen fan?! I clearly said second best player on a championship team, not championship teams with multiple all stars/hofers.

Yes, that Mavs team is the one anomaly in NBA history where there really wasn’t a second best/allstar caliber player. They still had a deep team tho. Buy if you want to nitpick that one championship team where you can plug Ray Allen in and they’d win, I guess you are right.

Ive never liked Ray Allen even when he was with the Celtics.. he’s a low tier allstar who took a lot of shots. Never really in the caliber of any of his peers. I’d take Kobe, AI, Mac, Wade and VC over him. All players that played his position in his era.

So you telling me that the man that cheated on Doc’s daughter with a stripper, knocked that stripper up, tried to pay for that stripper to have an abortion, eventually settled and had another baby by said stripper, then wifed said stripper... is making poor choices, throwing doc under the bus to avoid accountability for said choices, and confirming he needs somebody to hold his hand so he’s not making these poor choices? :ohhh:

Seemed like a good fit when they were like 20-1 or whatever in the regular season with both of them playing. They were a good fit when going up 3-1 and getting 12+ points leads in each of the succeeding games. PG is just not a big time playoff performer. When shyt gets hot, he folds. We've seen it happen with different teams and different coaches so this ain't just a kneejerk reaction to last year. Kawhi ain't what he (and plenty of others) thought he was either. Both them nikkas thought shyt was sweet. Now Doc most certainly has to wear that 3-1 collapse crown. However, you bring in 2 supposed superstars to carry shyt. The real issue is that neither PG or Kahwi is a facilitator or a leader. Neither has ever had those responsibilities and they (along with so many others) underestimated all that goes into both.

your wrong about kwai up until game 7 he was the best playerin the playoffs basically

Based on him not being Jordan or even Kobe/Bron, which is the company he was being placed in. He's a 2 way beast that can drop 25-40. But he's not gonna run your offense and he's not gonna lead you.

thats bullshyt and no hes not kobe but he still better then lebron
