Your beliefs were wrong....straight up.

Accept it.

The plea coppin for Melo never ceases to amaze me. In Denver he had talent and there is no excuse for them always being a 6-8 seed. He leaves Denver goes to NY to team up with Amare and what happens? They struggle to fit together and the 5 seed Knicks without Melo turn into a 6 seed with him. The next year they were a 7th seed and probably would've missed the playoffs had it not been for Linsanity that Melo watched that just like the rest of us. :pachaha: Last year he has a 2 seed and HC over George's team and cops that L. Meanwhile the Nuggets have a better record than the Knicks since he left. All the Knicks have to show for the Melo trade is one nice season and a playoff win over a :flabbynsick:/injured Celtics team.

Melo is a guy that can get you 25-30 a night while dominating the ball and certain spots on the floor, grab some boards, hit some clutch shots and that's it and he's not getting any better. What we are seeing is what you are gonna get until he falls off. George can get you 25, grab boards, pass the ball, handle the rock, defend the best perimeter guy on the other squad, and hit clutch shots too and he's only getting better. What more do nikkas need to see?

What about that has changed since yesterday?

Paul George is a turnover machine that you don't want to handle the rock and isn't that great a rebounder.

And the clutch angle on him is ehhhh....dude has been regressing since November.

Bottomline, he's never been on Melo's level in spite of the track record you can spew on Melo.

I agree he has regressed since November. However to act as if the my overall points have been completely changed after one game is downright comical.

If you want to challenge my points then fine but to have my post sit there for how many months and nikkas flood in here challenging them after one game is :comeon:.

Carmelo is definitely underrated, and like I said in other threads, behind LeBron and Kevin Durant as the 3rd best player in the NBA.

Paul George is the definition of a sidekick type player. He's nowhere NEAR a franchise player. He's not consistent, he cannot score when he wants, he can be effectively taken out of a game with a double team.

Yes, he's an okay passer, good rebounder, and excellent defensive player.....but since when did that make you a Superstar or even a Franchise player?:dwillhuh:

He's a more athletic Scottie Pippen imo and thats all he will ever be. Carmelo is an elite player and I dont understand why my #LWO brehs even consider waiting for Kevin Love when Carmelo is gonna be available:snoop:

Anything they say bad about Carmelo hold true for Kevin Love..............but even worse in Love's case. That's for another thread though:whoa:

Carmelo is a beast. And needs a team built around him like Kobe had with the 2008-2010 Lakers

He's not a good ball handler. He's not a great passer and his entire game suffers when his jumper is off. He's a 41% shooter when driving to the basket compared to Lance shooting 60%.

He's just a volume shooter the Pacers chose to defer to as their star way too soon, and you touted him as better than Melo. Man please.

And all of this was revealed yesterday? :heh: The only things that have changed from when I posted that is his all-around offensive game isn't as good. Everything else still stands true. Yet I am the first thing on nikkas minds after the game. :dwillhuh: I never said he was better than Melo. I was responding the to people acting like it was insane to make the comparison and copping pleas for Melo.
