what if he gets hurt again

pacers arnt winning sh!t, makes no sense

But he's already missed like 75 games and had all that time to heal and rehab. So why would it be rushing back? What if he just wants to get some reps in before the season ends to get his muscle memory back and all that?

I think Pacers agree this season is not going to end with a championship, so they definitely aren't going to rush back the face of the franchise. If he's ready he's ready.

To the naysayers about Paul George coming back, since you feel like it's about logic, let's do some logic.

Paul George broke his leg in August, in which case he had a 5 to 6 month recovery timeframe, but ultimately the idea was for him to sit the season just to be safe. The recovery timeframe has passed, and then some (it's been 8 months) and he feels ready. This is the end of the season and the playoffs will start soon, the Pacers are 3 or 4 wins away from locking in a playoff spot with 6 games left in the season. If they get the wins they need and make the playoffs, they'll probably get bounced out of the 1st round, or maybe even get lucky and make it to the 2nd.

That makes for an absolute maximum of 20 games that Paul George would end up playing, and that's just the ABSOLUTE maximum. This is with 8 months of sitting out, he's done with rehab, has been practicing with the team for quite some time now. It would be better if Paul George played the rest of the season and the playoffs for 13-20 games rather than playing 100+ total games next season.

Really think about it, is he risking his career more by playing 6+ games or 100+? Get smart nikkas. If he thinks he's ready to play then it's better to do it now rather than later, that's why Rose is coming back so soon.

If he's not 100% healthy and in good NBA basketball condition he risks hurting himself more than he does by sitting out the last 6 games & getting completely healthy. For all we know he may be 100% healthy, but it's an unnecessary risk IMO b/c it probably will take the rest of the season for him to get in any kind of game shape.

You don't break your leg like that and come back without taking every possible precaution. I'm happy he feels ready to play but this is a bad move IMO

@steezy I would argue breaking his leg was worse than tearing an ACL

Every possible precaution would be him quitting basketball forever in that case :dahell:

Every time you step on the floor it's a risk, ultimately, so he might as well come now while stakes is high. Better to come back when he matters most, rather than hurt himself playing games that are insignificant.

:snoop:nikkas who are arguing he's rushing back have not been following his recovery at all:stopitslime:. He's 100% healthy and has no risk of reinjury. If he gets injuried again it would be due to a freak accident. Yall really don't know the difference between a broken leg and a fukked up knee :heh:?? Welcome back PG:salute:

No you missed the point completely. You take every possible precaution in his rehab & recovery. We all expect him to come back & play at an All Star level so what is he gaining by playing 6 games? We know he's good he doesn't need to play to prove he can still hoop

Also y'all acting like this was a simple fracture of his bone. Brehs bone was sticking out of his leg. This rehab has to be more thorough than the avg leg injury

He rushing to comeback like KD and Rose did.

Aint worth it, just sit out the season.

rose didn't rush to come back after either injury. he sat out the ENTIRE season for ACL despite being cleared to play for months. and for the meniscus, he got hurt in december, and didn't come back last season even tho he was fully healed before the playoffs.
