No you missed the point completely. You take every possible precaution in his rehab & recovery. We all expect him to come back & play at an All Star level so what is he gaining by playing 6 games? We know he's good he doesn't need to play to prove he can still hoop

Also y'all acting like this was a simple fracture of his bone. Brehs bone was sticking out of his leg. This rehab has to be more thorough than the avg leg injury

He sat out 3 months more than his recovery period. Calm down nikka he's careful.

And when did he get cleared to play? A couple days ago. Plus playing in an NBA game is much more strenuous than the normal recovery period you're talking about. Like I said, it's too soon for him to come back

It's prolly for the mental boost and confidence that is needed from the ptsd that comes with gruesome and possible career ending injuries.
Exactly. He gets this out of the way now and there are no lingering doubts heading into next season.

No one expects him to come back dropping 24/5/5 again. This is gonna be like preseason for him.

the more i think about this, i want him to play. Yeah there is a risk associated with playing, but it cant hurt to get out there and get a feel for the speed of the game again. I would rather him struggle adjusting to the pace of the game now as opposed to the start of next season. If anything, playing now will give him a clear idea of where he is at and what he needs to do to better prepare for next season.
