yes we do, PG will open so many doors for us in FA. No one wants to play with bunch of kids but guys will want to play with PG

I think y'all have the main pieces to be a contender down the line, just need the supporting parts(rim protector, 4 who can shoot 3's and play solid defense). Getting PG won't solve the interior defense.

So resigning randle is not a priority?

That's why I said moved Deng/Mozgov OR let Randle walk.

Randle has too much upside to just let him walk for nothing (even to get PG), so It stands to reason the Lakers would zero in on trading Deng or Mozgov with some picks to Brooklyn for cap relief.

The Lakers would have to sign PG as a free agent before resigning Randle tho.

Randle, Russell, and George all have the same agent. I doubt you see either of those two included in a deal for PG13.

Besides a report has already come out saying the Lakers refuse to trade any young players to get Paul George.
They were willing to trade Randle for Fultz, I wouldn't buy too much into that report. If lakers feel pressured that Indiana will make another move, they will definitely trade Randle in a second

See, this is why the Blazers makes sense, there's nothing in the draft at 15/20 that is as good as PG, and their capped out as it is. They could take a desperate swing at it, and then the Pacers come back to you and ask you for the 2nd pick is some :scust:

They need all the picks they can get in the future, imagine trading away 3-4 first rounders then Cousins leaves simply because he wants to play with Wall, and then George leaves. That would be the end of that franchise, they just cannot afford to trade picks like that, they gonna end up in Kansas City or Seattle if they fukk around :russ:

Cavs don't have a pick until 2021

Zubac is already showing signs of being an elite rim protector. He might turn out to be the steal of his draft. ea

Randle's shooting has been improving.....

The Lakers have good pieces, people just need to be patient and allow them to develop.

The Warriors team wasn't built in a day, and NOBODY expected them to be anywhere near as good as they are now. Early in his career people were questioning if Steph would last in the league because of his ankles and questioned his play making ability. Draymond Green was looked at as a decent role player at best.

It takes time for young players to develop.

I rather lose PG and take the L than trade him for 15/20/26. That's role players status. Pacers would have to take Crabbe and shyt.

They were willing to trade Randle for Fultz because Magic thinks Fultz will be a transcendent star one day.

PG13 has continually been saying he wants to be a Laker and that he doesn't want them trading young players to get him. There's no incentive for the Lakers to trade anyone to get George unless they're dumping Deng and Mozgov.

I think the Lakers should go after cp3 and get Jackson in the draft. Trade Randle and DLo. Wait on PG-13 and maybe get Westbrook

There is an incentive, they don't have to max Randle. And you are playing with fire if you think if PG will still re-sign with Lakers if he goes to a contender like Cavs. Going to the finals and winning will change your mind right away. Lakers main assets are (ingram, 2nd pick and Russell). I would trade anyone after that. Lakers haven't had any success in a while, Paul George is the "last" hope and if they let him slip away, that will be a huge disappointment.
