If Cleveland is doing a trade I would restructure the team like this (assuming Love is Gone)

C: Thompson
PF: Lebron
SF: George or Butler
SG: Smith
PG: Irving

Honestly I don't like Thompson at center all that much, he's too small. If they could go out and get a true rim protecting center to put next to Bron and move Thompson to the off the bench role they'd be straight. I just don't know how they would get that center. :manny:

The Lakers have a much brighter future than the Pacers, outside of Turner and George the Pacers are compltely devoid of any real talent.
yeah but if your PG and want to win as bad as bad as you say you do, you cant bet and gamble that the young talent LA has will translate into success because lakers have been trash for 4 going into 5 years now

it really doesn't make much sense :yeshrug:

He's using the LeBron method of going to a young team loaded with assets and young players, also the allure of LA & now Magic doing recruiting will be right there with Pat Riley. It'll be easier for the Lakers to turn it around than the Pacers, they could flip two of their young guys for another star player and still have two other young players to pair them with.

LeBron went back to the Cavs under almost the same exact conditions as PG going to LA, big difference is LA can attract stars in Free agency in addition to their young players.

Breh in sports being a star is 100 percent dependent on skill. James Harden is a star, Russell Westbrook is a star. Jeremy Lin was briefly considered a star because he was playing like one for a couple of months. Javale Mcgee and Kwame Brown are infamous not stars.

Nah, you are misassociating being good with being a star. Stardom is just how known you are.
If you think Jeremy Lin earned his buzz we all know you have one of those cat statues with the paw up at your desk.

th

The nba jyst recently added media & players votes to make up half the allstar votes... cause they saw players with the best social media game where going to the allstar game over players that were more skilled on the court with less fan support. They forsaw disaster and pre-empted it.

Dude, 2017 allstar starting center Giannis Antetokounmpo has 200k twitter followers.

Do you know what would happen if Khloe Kardashian got just her family to tweet to vote for her bf Triston Thompson?
KimK has 53million twitter followers, you don't even have to go into Kanye, Khloe, the young one, I forget hr name... Amber Rose, etc.

You can be mediocre or even garbage and be a star.
Being a star doesnt mean you are any good.

Paul george is dumb as fukk

the pacers right now are better than the lakers, lakers are trash, second worst record in the league i think. If he wants to win so bad why would he chose LA over other teams? shyts not adding up
If you took George off the Pacers and put him on the Lakers, who do you think would have a better record? :hhh:

Magic should just offer Randle, Clarkson and #28 for George and be done with it. They don't want Clarkson on the roster anyway and they can't give Randle a big contract. They wouldn't be losing anything.

Then, plant drugs in Mozgov and Deng's lockers and void their contracts. :thatso:

Who said PG13 wants to win THAT BAD? I mean I'm sure he does want a ring, but he don't strike me as a die hard win at any cost type of dude. He seems like he tryna retire comfortably, play for his hometown team, live where he wanna live. Obviously, he thinks there's potential to build something pretty quickly in LA, but if a title was his main goal he wouldn't be trying to go to the Lakers.

The difference is Lebron can turn almost anyone into a contender.

If rings are what he wants then go to Cleveland because he's a perfect second or third option

If you're building around him you're going nowhere

nikkas passin him the ball like :hhh:

Whole crowd booing him the whole game. I'd actually watch the first Pacers home game next season just for the awkward spectacle of it all :ehh:

I like the idea that Zach Lowe put out today about OKC just saying fukk it and trying to trade for PG

I'd do it just to get out from under Kanter or Dipos deals :yeshrug:

Our other assets should be used to get rid of Mozgov/Deng.

If Lebron is somehow an actual option then we need clear cap space. Even if he's not I'd prefer one of two contracts to come off the board.

My lord fukk Jim Buss so much. That fakkit tried saving his job at the cost of dooming the franchise if he was wrong and then he wonders why they fired his ass immediately. Glad Dr. Buss didn't see just how awful his son could be.
