The Lakers should lowball the shyt out of Pacers. Paul George is already saying he's coming to the Lakers in 2018.
PG13 has basically scared off other teams, The Pacers don't want to lose him for nothing, and the Lakers can just wait till he hits free agency.
Most I'd offer Indiana is Clarkson, Nance, Mozgov, #28 pick and 2020 pick.
If they don't like that they can go get fukked by Cleveland or Houston and we'll still get PG13.

Maybe a 3rd team is for getting rid of Deng or Mozgov or another player. Why would you need a 3rd team to be involved for a 2nd pick?

If we trade for PG instead of signing him in free agency we would get his bird rights. Having his bird rights would give us the flexibility to sign another max player next year

One thing though. If PG DOES get traded to Cleveland and wins or even makes the Finals with Bron and Kyrie it's a STRONG chance he can be swayed to resigned. I'm thinking that's what's making the Lakers freak out a bit

Don't know how much of a threat Cleveland actually is.....
Jimmy Butler told them he didn't want to be traded to them or play for their team and they backed off even though he's still got two more years on his contract. PG13's contract is expiring, so if they're not going to gamble on Butler why would they gamble on Paul George who is even more of a risk to leave.
