Are the lakers projecting Ingram to be a superstar?

Yup.....

It's worth noting btw that Ingram had a worse rookie season than Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell.

With Ingram you see a lot of flashes and rapid improvement, but overall there's just seems to be more patience with him.

Julius has continually improved, but he has so much to work on that I can understand the Lakers being hesitant to extend him. Missing his first year really fukked up his development schedule.

D'Angelo seemed to be improving at the slowest rate, but he started out better than the other two. The biggest issue for him by far was his immaturity and poor work ethic. Magic was going to get rid of D'Lo regardless, the salary dump was just the opening he needed.

I haven't heard anything about the Lakers offering those future 2nd round picks they got in the Calderon deal to sweeten Clarkson/Randle, 27, and 28.

The CBA prevents teams from trading picks in consecutive drafts, one of those second rounders is for 2018, the other in 2019.

Shouldn't the LAKERS trade #2 for PORZINGIS? Magic should pull the trigger now!

IDK.....

I'm not as high on Porzingis as others. I honestly think dude is a bit overrated because expectations were low and he's playing for the Knicks. I think Ball is legit and having a guy that can run of offense the way he does would be invaluable.

Plus I'm just not keen on dealings with Phil Jackson. If the Lakers got Porzingis and George the other owners would throw a fukking fit because Phil and Jeanie used to be engaged.

*edit*

Actually on second thought......Could the Knicks absorb Deng's contract?

If so I'd give up the #2, Deng, Black, and Brewer for Zingy.....

That'd give the Lakers even more cap space, a great young talent, and they'd still have just enough to possibly trade for George (even though they should just wait for him in free agency).

you can keep that deal, KP is not only better than Ball at the moment but he has a much brighter future, we definitely don't want Deng. We already have a bad contract on our hands with Noah's bytch a$$
