It hurts so much watching your favorite player become :flabbynsick: when he use to kill every night. :to:

At least he outlasted all of the other 00s swingmen perennial all-stars not named Kobe. Vince, Iverson, T-Mac, Carter and Allen all fell off way before Pierce did. :salute:
Carter is a very servicable 2 guard right now. But Tmac, Iverson, Allen :flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick:

Pierce is fine, I've watched nearly every game of his Celtics career and a decent amount of his current ones. His drop off in offensive game isnt that precipitous, by no means done. I feel he had a decline last season relative to his normal standard, and I feel he's on that same physical tier.

KG gets a pass tho, Imagine how tired u would be after running up and down the court consantly with a big black diddikk hanging from ya waistline. I bet KG got the biggest joint in the league hands down.

Carter comes off the bench and plays 25mpg. He hasn't been able to play the role Pierce is playing know in years. VC was done way back in 2010 when Pierce lit him up in the Magic vs Celtics ECF series.

Ray Allen still plays pretty well, and that jumper is still good enough to help you win a damn ring. So I don't understand why you lumping Ray Ray with AI and TMac? :why:

Ray Allen hasn't been a team's defensive focus in damn near 7-8 years, breh. He wasn't even a starter his last year in Boston. Of course you're going to be shoot well when teams are focusing on the best player in the world and Dwayne Wade. If Ray Allen was in Pierce's situation, his numbers would be :gag:

Oh yes he has. He still commanded double teams until a year or two ago. Ray is also older than pierce and they have two different games, You can't compare them really. There's nothing wrong with being 39 and having teams focus lebron or wade before you...

You're an idiot breh. Nobody is double teaming Ray Alken you moron. This is the same guy who got shutdown by JJ Reddikk in the 09 playoffs :camby:

:dead: @ you trying to sneak your bullshyt analysis in here. Nobody was double teaming Ray Allen in 2011. Nobody was game planning to stop Ray Allen over Pierce, Garnett, Wade and LeBron. What a clown ass post you made. Smh

No need. I actually WATCHED him PLAY for those two seasons... something a lot of people here need to actually do when they want to analyze players.
So did I. It was only 10 years ago. Jordan wasn't even better than Stackhouse. A prime Jason Richardson was better than Wizard's MJ.

He was pretty good for a 40 year old, but he wasn't anywhere near All-NBA caliber. He had some moments where he looked great, but for the most part he wasn't.
