I agree with them too. I don't really have a problem with "ring culture" per se bc 1) the point is to win and 2) so boohoo you don't get to be #1 in barbershop talk but you're still worshiped by millions while making 100s of millions of dollars; there's worse things in life. If Giannis don't win another ring... he'll be alight lol.

More-so, obviously it's kinda funny when James or KD ("i just want to hoop") speak on it when we know how shameless they were in their pursuit to stack rings, and how much they loved the attention when it worked out for them. And i got no problem with the shamelessness (the point is to win) or the stat padding, as long as you own up to being a major contributor to and beneficiary of it. It's fine.

I was one of them. I been saying for years that Bron's resume is not gonna hold up as time passes by.

What if Shaq didn’t join Kobe and Dwade and stayed in Orlando, possibly leading them to one championship. Would still not be up there? Is what he’s saying.

And also that rings should not be the only comparison parameter. Cause at the end of the day it’s a team sport. And we are humans with intelligent minds, capable of judging a set of players on mad parameters.
