But Bron saying he hates the influence ring culture has on legacies and NBA discourse doesn’t conflict with his ring chasing. Just because he felt the need to chase rings to embolden his legacy doesn’t mean that he liked the culture, it just means he acknowledged that reality and took action.

We didn't have ring culture back when MJ was playing. Lebron literally started the whole ring culture debate. (also shaq being sensitive on tnt as a host and in effort to clown chuck) before him first ballot HOF were last people to jump from team to team in their prime. Now players like KD are basically HOF level journeymen. He helped start this wave, and now he's backtracking because he didn't amass the right amount of hardware.
