If the Nets win the championship Knicks fans are going to be on suicide alert. So this wouldn't be about winning the hearts and minds of new Nets fans. It would be about killing the soul of old Knicks fans. If Brooklyn wins this year, that would be the ultimate ether to Manhattan. nikkas can't walk around the city with any pride after that. I can't imagine the pain of watching the Nets win in year two of being in Brooklyn when the last time NYK won was ten years before most coli brehs were born.

Lucky I love the Celtics more than I hate the Knicks (it is getting alot closer the last couple years though). Next to the Celts winning, nothing like the pure unadultarated pain of Knick fans makes me happier
