You couldn't really make Shady a Rocafella type set up because getting out projects from b and c listers that line up behind your flagship pop artist would probably have worked better if they were other pop stars instead of rappers.
Em just wants to rap and give other rappers he likes a platform. Griselda can be Shady/Def Jam and not have to go through what Obie, Stat, SH and others had to go through to get a project out. There's a SH album in the vault now that the fans want but can't have because it was recorded on Interscope's dime and they know they ain't gonna make any money off it by releasing it.
If you're an Em fan, you are unlikely to get the album you're looking for while he's on Interscope, because they own that name and rap is a low priority.
