Lmao you guys always say shyt like this. But do you ever stop to ask yourself why they go back to labels? If they could do it on their own wouldn't they? Why would you get free and then go back to slavery?![]()

50 Cent never left UMG. Capitol Records is under the umbrella of Interscope. Vivendi will NEVER let 50 Cent go.
well def jam is under UMGSo is Rosenberg signing one of 50's artists? Giving him a line of credit? Something not adding up here.

It don't seem like Fif to get passed around like a ho from imprint to imprint, again something's not adding up I guess I'll just wait for more details. But again unless he getting a Roc Nation type deal which is not a check Rosenberg can cut I don't see the point of this.Do you live under a rock?
Def Jam is also apart of Interscope that is all we know for certain. So is Rosenberg signing one of 50's artists? Giving him a line of credit? Something not adding up here.
patiently waiting
.Def Jam is also apart of Interscope that is all we know for certain.
Eminem is still under contract and I think he signed another solo 5 album deal and he's only released 4 so far (relapse, recovery, revival and MMLP2) and maybe the last will be a greatest hits compilation judging by his last run before he retired and Jimmy Iovine coaxed him back with a new deal.
I think at this point Eminem should go independant and do what the fxck he wants as it's clear he the machine behind him is too invested more so than him which has created the bad albums post Encore.
It doesn't seem unattainable but 50 is still in contract but Independant so I'm sure he's fluid in leaving Capitol as his distributor. In past times labels do a joint venture like how Death Row was as most artists were signed elsewhere but recorded under Suge as the production house/management for those artists.
Rosenberg probably just wants do Aftermath Records again but without the interference.
Whatever comes of it, I'mpatiently waiting
.

50 OWNS his label outright with a distribution deal through Capitol Records, think No Limit Records through UMG, Bad Boy through Arista and Death Row through UMG. 50 owns his past and current masters as well as everything from the original incarnation of G-Unit Records on Aftermath. 50 had video games which were all joint ventures through Vivendi for example if you Google the amount of games sold he has made them a lot of money more so than Eminem. So Def Jam and Interscope are imprints ala Young Money and 1017 Brick Squad? It don't seem like Fif to get passed around like a ho from imprint to imprint, again something's not adding up I guess I'll just wait for more details. But again unless he getting a Roc Nation type deal which is not a check Rosenberg can cut I don't see the point of this.
He's independant and owns his masters. Look on Spotify he is still one of the highest played so he's still relevant as 15 years ago.So actually, in a sense, 50 is signing Rosenberg![]()
Sh*t still not adding up Fif might be hurting

Everything. He owns the masters to "In Da Club"?![]()
worst thing u can do if you're an artist with an already established name is sign to a label in 2018
if you're unknown then I'd understand
Everything.
He owns the logos, mixtapes, the demos, unreleased songs, the album masters of his own and everyone on G-Unit Records including Mobb Deep, Buck, Banks, Yayo as well as The Game's first 5 solo albums which is why The Game rushed so many out with quick succession in the 00s. He also owns the OSTs and owns a stake in the two Vivendi produced video games in his name.
Just before 50 Cent left he was about to drop a song featuring Eminem called, "Champions" that Aftermath was gearing to push if he hadn't left. He has gems like that.
Jimmy Iovine let him leave with 100% ownership all as a gift for his efforts.
I think other than Dr. Dre that 50 Cent generated more money for Interscope than Eminem (at that time).
